I ran across this site and there are some really wierd phobias listed I'm just glad they haven't come up with
a fear of chocolate!

well at this point in my life i have lived in the dentist its not that i never brushed or took care of my teeth i did and i never was a candy eater still am not however have been told it heredity sp. my teeth problems so believe it or not after spending half my life or more in dentists chairs I am not afarid of the needles i am not afarid of the drilling not afarid of root canal and not afairid of haveing a tooth pulled however ladies I am so paranoid and have a huge fear of when they want to put those cottom swabs in my mouth the feeling alone of them I could throw up and when you mouth is all numbed up and then have so many things in your mouth and then angle your head down I feel like i will swollow them so they have got upset however i do not care no cotton of any type in my mouth. The other phobia i have is ride I mean the big upside down ones twister ones i probably would die before i would get on one, so please share peace catherine

My phobias are snakes, hegihts, airplanees over the ocean, and being stranded floating in the ocean.

I am claustrophobic, closed,small places and without even realizing it, my throat closes up, my heart pounds, etc.
I hate it, I will not fly either, not sure if that is the claustrophobia or something else. NO elevators of any kind. I should be skinny all the stairs I take instead of elevators,lol.
Oh well, we all have something I guess.

My biggest one is driving on a bridge over water. I just know, one false move, and we are all shark food! I am fine if I am not driving though. Yea, no fear of chocolate here!

LOL Some of those were just BIZARRE! Fear of bowel movements??? YIKES!

I am somewhat claustrophic.....I mean I am ok in my small office here at work (and believe me it's SMALL), but shove me in a small room with other people and close the door and I get light headed and feel like I can't breathe.

I don't have any phobias. There are definately things I like less than others - like spiders and snakes, but I'm not scared of them. DH is clausterphobic. He's had trouble when he's had to sit in the back of an airplane before. He had to get up and go stand for the whole flight!

I don't know if I would call it a phobia but I don't like confined spaces but can deal with air planes and elevators! I hate large crowds where everyone is bumping into you!
I guess the only phobia I've developed is getting dehydrated because last year I had the flu and got dehydrated, I passed out and fell face first into my wrought Iron bed, they thought I had broke my neck and I did break my nose! the last thing I remember was brushing my teeth, I didn't even feel light headed my bed was about 20 feet away from my bathroom and I don't know how I walked out there! well because of that I drink lots of water and get scared when I feel dizzy at all!

how about... snakes on a plane?!

I have a fear of being trapped under the water, when I see movies or anything with people under water I feel like I cant breath, but yet I love the water, so I dont know where that comes from. My oldest son hates bugs mostly spiders, he gets sick to his stomach if a spider is anywhere near him, I do torment him sometimes with a pick a hand! and its a nice big spider! I gotta get even with him some how

I am very scared of snakes, and we have them all over here. Also scared of drowning, or falling into deep water. So weird.

I have a phobia..I just don't know what its called. I call it work phobia. lol. Whenever i started a new job the night before and the day of starting it i get almost like scared! I get nervous and clammy. lol. Maybe i'm not the only one but it's horrible!!

mine are dentists, heights, grasshoppers...........

bugs. I have been paralyzed w/ fear from bugs. I can't deal with bugs. Even just seeing them in magazines and on tv gets me freaked out.

Heights and drowning. I like to swim, but if I swim in the ocean for snorkeling or something like that, I get freaked if I get too far from shore.

I have a fear of any flood type waters near a roadway. I have to physically put my hand up so that I cannot see the water near the roadway. If I see water across a road, even an inch, I turn back. This past winter we had frozen ground and lots of water sitting on top. I had to take the 4wd truck w/ kids through some water and I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Weird thing is that I love the water when it is on my terms.

I hate heights, but love flying. Give me a window seat (Go figure). I also hate bridges and enclosed spaces.
