Quality Manufactrers

Flexsteel replaced all the spring in the years old sofa and were very nice about it.
A O Smith were very patient and helpful with replacement parts for hi tec hot water heater that no one in the area could fix.

Kohler -- our kitchen faucet needed a new part -- we called the company and they sent a new faucet free of charge -- their products come with a lifetime warranty.

Kitchenaid -- excellent customer service, excellent quality products.

Britax (child car seats) has replaced several defective seats for me over the years -- always out of warranty, always at no cost or hassle to me.

Graco replaced missing parts (I lost them) to some baby gear at no cost to me.

Kohler (faucets) is replacing our sink sprayer because it doesn't work right -- they charged me $5.95 shipping which I was ok with (it's a lot less money than a new sprayer).

LL Bean refunded my money on an overnight bag with a broken handle, eventhough I'd used it for several months.

Crocs shoes sent me new parts that attach the heel strap to the shoe when my DS broke one. These were sent at no cost and they sent me three sets instead of just the one I asked for.

Hershey's sent me a refund check for a box of chocolates that had clearly sat on the store shelf too long.

We have had a Bunn coffeemaker for 14+ years and the company has sent replacement parts several times to repair it.

HP (dropped my camera with a warranty but they sent me a new camera instead of repairing the old one and did it quickly in time for an upcoming party). I've also had great repair work done on my laptop thru them

O Boy O Berto Beff Jerky (hope I spelled that right). I once got a bag that had lots of gristle. I wrote to them about it (pre email days) and they sent me 10 lbs of jerky! YIKES. I just wanted them to be aware...not get anything out of it

Costco (they'll stand behind all they sell...may not be the manufacturer but many times, you don't HAVE to deal with the manufacturer

There are a couple local manufacturers of wood cabinets in our area whose service is SUPERB but no one would know them unless they live here...

*Toyota (we totalled the car less than 6 months after we purchased a new one and insurance reimbursed 100% -- the car had NOT depreciated!)

*Costco and Amazon (I agree with sexysmurf but adding Amazon... both retailers great return policies so that you do NOT have to deal with less than stellar manufacturers!)

Hampton Bay-had an issue with one of our ceiling fans and the lady diagnosed the problem over the phone and I got the needed part for the fix in the mail a couple days later with simple instructions for replacement. Free

Lowepro-they manufacture bags and acces. for cameras. Quick, friendly service.

DH thinks Ducane (grills) is awesome. They sent him a new cover for his grill for free because he dented the one he had.

Why are we aways surprised when companies do the right thing when there is a problem with a product?? Also, why are we always surprised when we go to a restaurant and get a good meal? Everyone is supposed to get good food at a restaurant right???

Price Phister faucets....I called to order a new handle for my 13 yr. old pull out sprayer and they told me there was a lifetime warranty on it and which color would I like to have. They sent it out immediately.

Twalters 1 we are surprised because although it should be normal it's sadly not anymore. I wish we all had the luxury of being able to stay away from businesses that treat us shabbily but sometimes it's our utility company or car company or something else that we can't change. Or even worse we find that every company in that category is as crappy as the next.
