Please pray for the Laurie family. Pastor Greg Laurie, of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside lost his oldest son, Christopher Laurie, in a car accident. He leaves behind a widow, who is pregnant with her second child and a young daughter that is about 2 years old.

They are a precious family, very loving, - truly the 'real deal' as far as Christians go.

First Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter and now this.

When did it happen? That's so sad. I just went to his website (personal one first). It says his son, Christopher, designed that website. In it were pictures of the entire family. What a good-looking family. Christopher has a beautiful wife and child.

They're definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!"

It happened this morning. I don't think our church has issued a press release yet. Everyone is devestated.

The Harvest Crusade is coming up in just a few short weeks and Greg had recently released his book and documentary, "Lost Boy".

I have never heard of him but went to the website. What an awful thing to happen to such a beautiful family. My prayers are with them.

My entire family goes to this church (in Riverside).

He did my fathers funeral in 1992.

This is so sad.
