"Last Lecture" Professor Pausch Dies

I just read this on cbs news. I was hoping he'd be lucky and some more time. My prayers go out to his family & friends. I wish I could have met him in person. He seemed like such a wonderful guy & a great inspiration to the people around him.
Rest in Peace,
Judy

I just read this, and I knew this day would eventually come, but still feel so saddened. He definitely was an extraordinary person, and we all should strive to better ourselves by his examples and how he lived his life. May his family be strong and cherish their memories of him.

AH, CRAP!!! I was just reading his web page 2 or 3 days ago, and while his numbers were going up, he seemed stable. Sooooo sad for his children. What a wonderful legacy he has left, and to be given the gift of time to get things in order, that is a positive.

I read his book on the the last lecture when it came out at the beginning of summer. It was really good. And of course, I've watched the Last Lecture on youtube. What a wonderful person.

He and his family are in my prayers.

I have his lecture recorded on DVR so I can watch it with my kids from time to time.

It's so sad...

Very sad. I am in the middle of his book and am enjoying it. When I heard the news it felt like someone I knew well had passed.

I was worried that this is what was going on. His web site hadn't been updated in a long time and I wondered if he was getting worse.

I was so inspired with his courage and love for his family. What a wonderful legacy to leave for his wife and kids.

He was such a shining example, a person the world could look to for wisdom. We need more people like that right now.

I am also so saddened to learn that he died. I watched the Dateline (?) special awhile back with him and his family and it was just so heartbreaking. Gosh, I sure do wish they would find a cure for all of these horrible diseases, cancers, etc., soon. Just so sad. His kids were so young too.
