I went thru a Patrick Swayze phase. Dirty Dancing and Ghost were high on my list for a few years.

I will have to check this Gary Oldman out. I don't think I know who he is.

I love "Frock Flicks"

Pride and predjudice with Colin Firth
really any BBC production of any Bronte or Jane Austin book. No one does quality like the BBC.
either of the Sabrina moves
Casanova with David Tennant ... anything with David Tennant .....yummy

The Unbearable Likeness of Being
Dr. Zhivago

speaking of Gary oldman I loved: Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, Immortal Beloved and The Fifth Element. He is really a very versatile actor that has not been given his due. He is so good he makes evey part look so easy and natural.

Love Actually starring everyone imaginable

Do you think you could please stop using all caps and add some punctuation? It's VERY hard to read what you've written.

Why can't they make shows like that aimed at kids, or adults for that matter, in this country? I must admit though I haven't been able to get into Torchwood the same way but I haven't bothered trying to watch it in a very long while.

David Tennant has finally gotten me to watch Dr. Who and now I'm totally hooked...not sure what I'll do when there's a new doctor. I guess it depends on who it is. That episode 'Blink' was amazing...definitely one of the best things I've ever seen on tv.

As for 'sexy dramas', off the top of my head, here are some that I like:
Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version)
Persuasion (more romantic than sexy, though....but hoo boy is it romantic!)
Cousins
Young Adam (Ewan McGregor is beyond hot in this)
Anything with James McAvoy (with him as Mr. Tumnus, even 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' was a sexy drama for me! LOL!)
P.S. with Laura Linney and Topher Grace
The Piano
Truly, Madly, Deeply (okay, not actually a sexy drama but it's one of my favorite movies, so I'm adding it anyway!

Maureen
