I got married in the drive thru chapel. $35 and done. But I'm sure that if you look into it, you'll find that they have some really nice chapels and wedding "packages". It's not all cheesy Elvis stuff. There are some really romantic ways to get married there. The different hotel websites have sections about their chapels/packages. There are also a lot of small chapels all over Vegas. It's really simple, too. You just have to go to the courthouse downtown and get a license which only took us 20 minutes, but sometimes there is a line. |

My friends got married there and loved it. You can still have a very "formal" wedding if you want. Check out Las Vegas Wedding Planning, Chapels, and Packages Information There is some decent information on there.

I got married at Circus Circus (10 years ago on August 8th). It cost us $200 including a wedding video , pictures , the minister, and marriage license. I did not want the stress of a big wedding and this was just perfect for us. Good luck on your planning.

HeHeHe, We got married in the chapel there also in 1991! We had 20 people fly and drive out. My grandparents thought it was going to be tacky but they said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Cheap, fun, semi-formal. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Maybe renew our vows there on the 25th anniversary We lived in RI then and my parents are from MN and his Fl, that is why we did it there.

Mu hubby and I got married downtown in the same office where you pick up your marriage liscense and although I know it is not what you are asking about, we enjoyed it. We had two witnesses with us and later had a big dinner with everyone to celebrate our future together. I am not anti-wedding...but do think that there are definately weddings that are over-done...lol...a lot of people spend tons of money for the event of the wedding. We were happy to have money for our marriage (down payment on a house, etc). I am probably gonna get flamed for it...but I will say it anyway...it is your wedding day, do what makes you & future spouse happy, not what others think you should do. The marriage will last a lot longer than the wedding, so make sure your happy. Las Vegas has a lot to see and do. Sounds like you could make a vacation of it at the same time.

DH and I got married in Vegas 10 years ago. We were married at Little Chapel of the Flowers. I don't know about the cost, because DH paid for it (and we were living across the country from each other at the time- which is the primary reason we were married in Vegas). I would do it again in a heartbeat! I ALWAYS recommend a Vegas wedding to anyone I know who is planning to get married.

If you are on a budget you could have a small but nice one where you live. ![]() Maybe a private ceremony in a church chapel. I know a couple who had a nice wedding in the Gazebo on the court house square.( they used the court clerk) They were in a small town but I am sure there are nice places everywhere. Just ideas to think about.

Dh and I got married 4 years ago in Vegas. I loved it and wouldn't change a thing. We had about 20 people fly out. We got married at MGM chapel. We stayed at the MGM and honeymooned, too. We had a "reception" at Ricardos restaurant (off the strip) and they did an amazing job. I picked out a cake from Freed's bakery and Ricardo's took care of everything. There are many different "packages" available for your price range. We paid for our wedding/honeymoon. We had so much fun and went back for vacation there a year ago. Good luck. I agree that this day should be for you and your husband to be. |

I got married in Vegas in 2001. We got married at the little white chapel, and it was great! It cost us about 200-300 total, and we were the only ones there, except for the little old lady playing the organ, and the minister. Not very romantic for me, cause we got in a fight just before we left...LOL I still married him though! Hey, he wanted me to walk! WALK like a mile in heels to the bus(I never wear heels!). I told him youre gettin a taxi, or I aint going! He got a taxi. We got married in shorts and tshirts. It was so great, and it was only us so it was very private and quiet. We decided to get married there because my mom was being controlling about the wedding.

We got married at the Little White Chapel too, five years ago from next week, and it was great. We had two friends decide to come at the last minute, and no other guests, so family didn't have to travel. Don't recall the cost, but it wasn't much. Ours was outside in the gazebo, which looked nice in the pictures, and we got dinner, and went to a dive bar where my friend's cousin's girlfriend was the karaoke hostess after. It was all a bit surreal, but fun.

I married in November 2001 in LV. I think it is great place to get married. You should be able to do almost anything you want for way under 500. It all depends what you want. We had a nice theme wedding and then took pictures of nice traditional wedding to show others. If you marrying on Halloween and you want something a little weirder, you can find it for not much more than a traditional wedding. Do a search you will find hundreds of choices.

Mr. Oupiglet and I got married outside in the garden at Caesars Palace on May 1, 2006. We had 50 guests join us. A Vegas wedding can be as expensive or as cheap as you want it to be. Ours was wonderful and perfect. I have pictures that you'd never guess we were in Las Vegas and others where there's no doubt where we are. I love them all.

I got married there in 1986, when the strip was still open and you could run right across the street, back and forth! I got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel "Where Joan Collins" got married (I think is what it said on the sign out front). It was a nice wedding. We had a lot of fun. Too bad I am part of the statistic that says that 90% percent of all Vegas weddings fail (or something like that). ![]() This is REALLY funny that you ask this, because just yesterday I was looking at my wedding photos, and I NEVER look at them. They are put away in a box and I was looking for something, and ran across them. It must have been over 12 years since I have looked at them.
