My ds didnt place in nationals but we had a great time. It was a great experience for her and she said she is going to make it next year again. I am thankful for all the kind words and encouragement some of the members on the board had for us. I think she was nervous and they were very strict, but it was a great experience for her and something she will remember for a very long time.
My dh and our family are proud of her- so what if she didnt place, at least she made it that far.

Hi buttercup! I'm glad you all had a great time and made it back safely. I agree, even though she didn't place, she made it a lot further than most! That's definitely something to be proud of. It sounds like it was a real bonding experience for your family and it's motivated her for next year. These are memories that last a lifetime. Congrats on the successful trip!

Thanks for the kind words. It was fun! My ds and I were the only ones that went my dh had to work, since he had been to every other meet and this was short notice. But the two of us had a great time going to dinner together, hanging out by the pool and it was nice just to spend some time with her. I loved the fact that she saw 2 other states and when we got home she had some Thank You cards to write to the people who supported her finacially. I thought I would take a picture of her with her metals on in her uniform. Thanks again everyone!
