Ok, I'll describe DH. Dark hair, beautiful green eyes, large arms, nice muscular chest, always stays tan, goatee and he keeps his hair nice and short. Although, I went for the typical "bad boy" in my younger days, I seem to of completely changed. I love the way he dresses, Duck Head shorts or jeans with either a button down shirt or a plain shirt (not tshirt). I love the fact that he is so outgoing, will talk to anyone and would help anyone in any way. I can't forget the way he interacts with our boys, just being a great dad is such a turn on for me.

I just love everything about him!!

Dark, curly hair - neatly cut and no facial hair
nice straight white teeth
clean and well groomed - smells "clean"
nicely dressed - at least a long sleeved dress shirt and tie
the more expensive clothes, the better

isn't it nice we don't all like the same thing

My DH...

High morals
Kind-hearted
Patient
Honest
A good sense of humor!
Terrific father
A good listener and communicator
Does household chores, helpful
Highly regarded by others
Good hygiene
Non-smoker
Not a boooozer, light drinker
My best friend!

Looks.... well, obviously not top priority (just kidding sweetie!), LOL:
Dark hair
TALL
Meaty but all in the right places
Smiles a LOT

Clothing...
Jeans and teeshirts!

My wishes... things I'd change but I don't nag...
I wish that he'd exercise more. I worry about his lack of energy at times.

Love my sweetie and we have two boys who are learning to be just like daddy... envy those girls some day!

After dealing with my soon to be in-laws, I would say if I had to find a new man, the first thing I would look for is someone with normal parents. However, I love my BF and well as long as I dont have to deal with his parents again I will keep him

They must like my kids and treat them nicely. that is a big must.

long dark hair or a shaved head (either is fine with me, my BF shaves his head)

tattoos (my BF has 5, I wish he'd get more)

piercings (my BF doesn't have any )

decent body, he doesn't have to work out everyday and have a great chest, as long as its comfy for me to lay my head on

a job (I met a few over the years who don't work, not because they got laid off or lost a job, they had no motivation to work)

I prefer a guy who may get dirty at work. A guy who goes to work every day in a suit and tie and works at the office does nothing for me. Although some of them do look real good in a suit, I just can't picture myself dating someone like that.

self -supportive (again I met some who depended on relatives to support them)

sense of humor (my BF has a great sense of humor and makes me and everyone around us laugh constantly)

must like to occasionally watch a girlie movie without complaining

understand my sarcastic sense of humor

Okay - I'll bite.

I have always been attracted to older men. In high school, I always thought my friends' dads were attractive. Even now, in my thirties, I think men in their late 40's - 50's are very attractive; so about 20 years older than me seems to be what I prefer; but NOT the kind of men that have hair growing out of their noses or anything like that, YUK! (This reminds me of that one Seinfield where George finds out that Marissa Tomei is attracted to bald, short guys)

What is funny is that my hubby is right about my same age but he is finally getting a few gray hairs, here and there, which is nice and I love him dearly.

What I have NEVER been attracted to is men that are too fit and toned or the 'metro-sexual' type. I always think of them as being too self-absorbed and cheating on their girlfriend/wife.

Oh - and for some reason, I don't care for men with blond or light hair.

I love a man that smells good and clean. Not an overbearing or strong smell. Just enough that it smells like he just got out of the shower. Also, they have to have kind eyes. Not necessarily any certain color, but kind eyes. Oh, and I also love guys that have a little bit of pudge on them. Not fat, but not toned and watching every calorie they eat. Hate the metro-sexual guys.

I like a guy who looks like he just stepped out of a Land's End catalog. That's what I married, tall, dark hair, blue eyes, nice build, etc...but now.almost 20 years later, he looks more like a cover model for the latest edition of SOE-Stressed Out Executive-a bit overweight, glasses, and a continuous Blackberry addiction....He was way cuter back in the day....

I adore my DH....he was long haired, had a tattoo and a motorcycle when we married...he lost some hair (he shaves his head now) sold the motorcycle to help pay for out home, and is the most awesome husband and hardest worker I have ever seen. He calls me his princess. He cooks, helps, is constantly working at home (we kind of have a gentleman's farm). when my boy were babies, he came to relieve me when they were up all night..he fed them breakfast and dressed them before work so I could get ready for work. he fishes, gardens, boy scout leader and does absolutely everything for them. I am on the big pedastal. I do the traditional womens stuff, he does way more and helps me if I am feeling bad or down.

Here goes, nobody flame me!! NO TATTOOS!! Or piercings or long hair!!! Also no smoking, no vulgarity. Not a drunk, but can drink a beer with the guys. I like manly men, tall, muscular, but not body builder type. Don't dress or talk like a sissy!! Love deep sexy voices! Makes me feel safe and feminine when we are together. Must have a good sexual appetite, and aim to please!! Dark hair, light eyes. Can't stand wimpy guys!! Be a man!! But also be kind, appreciate the differences between the sexes. OOHH goodness, I have to stop thinking about such a handsome creature.....

Did someone say their husband likes to clean? Wanna swap? I'll send cash along too, ha ha. Ballmom, when you find that man, can you pass him around?! He sounds too good to be true!

For me I like dark haired men (my DH has black hair), non-smoker (he doesn't smoke), communicates well & likes to talk (my husband is lacking in this dept. unfortunately), helps around the house (doesn't do that much either sigh but he never misses a day of work so I guess I'll forgive), I love muscular arms (he has them), love a good smelling man (wish he'd wear cologne more is all), DH is a business man so he dresses nice, must have high morals (he does), and a good sense of humor (does), etc. My only real complaints in my marriage are communication, where we live (I'd like to move back to my hometown) and his drama driven, buttinsky family (boy, that can be a real deal breaker can't it....but that's another thread, haha). My husband looks a lot like Dean Cain (played Superman) who I have always found very attractive.

I love older guys too- but go figure- DH is 3 years younger than me

I love the way my DH looks- clean cut- short hair with the spiky flip in the front- healthy looking/fit but not OVERLY muscular. I dont like over the top weight lifting types-
fantastic smile and dark brown eyes- he's super intelligent which is my main attraction to him

my dislikes in DH and any other guy- neck hair- I dont know whats up with my DH- he is squeaky clean but I have to get on him to shave his neckline- I cant stand how sloppy that looks-
He has hair that grows like a weed and it comes in so fast- he needs to work at that

I wish he would wear cologne more often but he does smell like soap and shampoo most of the time which I love

I like my man with medium long black hair, brown eyes, doesn't smoke ,doesn't drink, and takes a shower after work.Must be same age or slightly under or over.Likes movies, video games, computers, parks, shopping, and being somewhat financially stable.Likes to makeout.
Does not like to fight.

My bf only has a few qualifiers but he'll have to do because I'm too old for this dating crap.

humm cologne I honestly cannot tell you the last time my dh ever used it and also for me the only thing i use is patocholi a scented oil I extremely hate perfumes of all kinds. Also I might add I like a guy like my dh is sure of himself does not have to prove himself to other, that he is comfortable me too in his own skin, confidence is a big issue for me and him, alot of people might think a bad boy look type could care less, however its him it fits him and has been told by some people oh grow up Tommy when are you going to cut your hair wear new clothes, wear a suit omg a suit I do not think so,I guess he will be forever a young bad boy hippee forever but a bad boy not really a man with a heart of gold and a heart of love for his family . This thread was so much fun to read all the different thoughts please keep sharing peace catherine.

hey cjs216 very funny post I will not answer where the package is suppossed to be however i do love every bit of his body lol also hon even though I am a Native New Yorker I am soooooo happy to see your a Boston Red Sox fan we should have more like you and me enough with the Yankee's, however on a personal note I do believe the Yankee;s are a great team and have some wonderful really good players however back to me and my dh and son they are not bad boy types, We all personally feel they should wear their hair the way they want and that wholesome good boy looks has to go. Well they got Johnny Damon we were all heartbroken man he was so bad boy looking oh well I guess money is more important then your looks, peace to all Catherine
