Has another person experienced this ? I was at my ds's band practice the other day. A car drove up beside me. The man inside looked EXACTLY like my brother. My brother died in 1995 though. I could not believe the resemblence ! I just stared and stared ! The young man was about the age of my brother before he died too.

Also, while I am on the subject. I just got back from a trip to FL. My ds was driving, we pulled up to a stoplight. The man beside us looked EXACTLY like my nephew..they could of passed for twins. My nephew, btw, never knew his dad...I joked to my son that we finally found Danny's dad !

I was told I look exactly like someone by a lot of people. The person lives a few towns over and throughout the years I have heard about her. I wonder if she's heard about me?

It always made me wonder because I was a triplet and my sisters died at birth. I know they are gone, but it makes me wonder if they are out there somewhere.

I worked with someone who looked exactly like me...talk about freaky. She just didn't have the same personality as me though *thank God* And it turns out we grew up about 15 minutes from each other!

One of DHs college roomates lookes exactly like my brother.

It's interesting though, because my brother is typically kind of unkemp and disheveled. He wears a scraggly goatee and has a cowlic on the top front of this hair that he never tames (he's a high school math teacher). DHs old roomate is a "cleaner" more kept version of my brother.

I sent a picture to my parents, who also couldn't believe how much alike they looked. I pointed out that that's what my brother would look like if he kept himself up!

My Mom used to go out at lunchtime back in NJ to do some errands. Once in awhile when she'd come to this particular traffic light, there would be this elderly man sitting on a bench there, waiting for the bus. She almost crashed the car the first time she saw him because he looked just like her Dad, my grandfather, who passed away back in 1997. She said everything about him looked like Poppy...from his clothes, to his hat, to the way he was sitting there reading his newspaper. I think it really shook her up at the time. Maybe it's wishful thinking? Maybe it's our loved one's way of saying hi? I don't know. It is bizarre though. ~Lisa

I have always had people stop me to tell me I have a twin. You look just like my sil, sister,mother ,worked with you, went to school with you and harlequin put out a bookmark years ago that looked just like me.
I had a customer that looked like my father and even had his distinctive fingernails.

I also always get "You look just like...." Then they will call their friend over and say "Doesn't she look just like..."

There is a cashier at the Costco I go to that a couple of years ago could have been my brothers twin. The first time I saw him I couldn't stop starring. He's still there but has gained about 40lbs so he really doesn't look like my brother anymore.

I, too, have been told numerous times by different people that I have a twin out there. Apparently my "twin" even has her hair styled very similar to mine. I find it interesting since I have very red, thick curly hair and it isn't common by any means. I wonder if she could stand to lose 20lbs like me?

I was shopping at Target one day when a woman came up to me almost crying and said I looked just like her mom that had just passed away. I told her that I was sorry, but she said that it made her feel better to see me. I ended up running in to her 3 or 4 more times over the next year or two. I never recognized her but each time she would say hi and tell me who she was.

My dad died last August and sometime in the month or two following his death, there was an article in the paper about some WWII veterans doing a talk at a local school. One of the men in the photos looked just like my dad. The resemblance was eerie.

There was a woman on Montel years ago that looked exactly like me. DH was even watching at the time and commented on it. Very odd!!
I buy groceries in the next town over. It almost never fails that someone will call me someone else's name and then comment on how I look just like her. I have never ran into her as of yet, which is odd because we both live in very small towns.

While vacationing at Panama City we ran into a guy that looked exactly to a T like my ex brother in law.

Makes ya wonder if maybe everyone really does have a twin out there.

I believe that our past loved ones can come down and visit. I know that sounds like I am playing with a full deck, but maybe they are tying to send us some message like toappreciate what is on earth while we can. I know... wrap me up and send me to the funny farm, but I do think it is possible.

As a teenager/young adult, I was always asked if I went to a certain high school. I of course had not. People would tell me there was a girl from there that looked just like me. One summer I was at the race track with some family and friends and ran into my "twin". We even had on the same type of outfit and had our hair the same style. It was weird to say the least but also nice to finally see my "twin".

I have been told by MANY people that I have a lookalike!
Many years ago when I was a model waiting for a flight to Amsterdam, I caught a cold as we had a very long delay at the very cold airport before take off. So when we arrived I was the only one who didn't go out sightseeing. There were 100 models, actors etc. & 99 of them came back to tell me that I have a double who sat in a window in the RED LIGHT DISTRICT!!
In Edinburgh, Scotland I had a double that was also a prostitute & everyone was convinced it was me until they saw me on one side of the road & her on the other! I also have doubles in London, Germany & there's a Jamaican birthday card with a picture that looks so like me a relative bought it!

there is a girl who works at the grocery store by my house-I swear we used to run around in the same crowd as teenagers. I asked her, and asked about what high school she went to. She didn't even go to school locally here, and said I had been the second person to ask her that week (she was a new transfer to that store). My problem is that I am always being mistaken for Nicole Kidman on the streets. Apparently, we look just alike too...It really sucks! lol...

There is one woman I see very frequently who looks so much like me that she could be my twin......hey, wait a minute....it actually IS my real twin sister Lol

yup I have a twin out there too. I have personally seen her once back in 1999, it was soo errie how similar she looks liked me. I constantly have people telling me I look just like someone they know.

Just in the past year my good friend from high school called my husband to ask why I was at the musuem with my son. When he assured her I was at work she didn't beleive him She was adament I was with my son at the mususem

Then two months later I was approached at the drug store my someone telling me all this information, he was postive I was his niece. He told me how I was a bartender in Providence and didn't have a son, but had a nephew (explaining the little boy my friend saw) and all about my dad. He really wanted me to come outside to speak with him because he was causing such a scene insisting I was someone but I was very scared because he was soo adamant about it.

Looking back I wish I would have gone with him to find out about this woman, I never met my dad, but heard he had two boys. Hum

What an interesting topic!

My Aunt JoAnn is in a wheelchair and has been from birth. One day my DSis and I were at the Mall of America and saw a woman who looked so much like her that we both gasped. It was so surreal to see "Aunt JoAnn" walking. We were both speechless for awhile, which is odd for us both.

Sometimes I think God lets us get glimpses of the people we lost and miss

I've seen a couple of elderly men that looked almost just like one of my grandpa's. It is eerie but nice at the same time. Just the other day my kids and I were at a restaurant with my dad and he saw a man there that looked just like his grandpa. He said it was kind of freaky. I wouldn't be surprised if that man was put there by God! My dad has been having a rough year after being dx'd with cancer and he loved his grandpa so much and misses him.
I've also seen a couple of men that looked similar to my FIL, who passed away 11 years ago.

My mother swears she saw my exact twin in Florida.

I have seen a couple of women over the years that I thought were my mil, same hair....dressed the same way she did. (she passed away in 1999) I mean they looked so much like her I know I was staring at them.

Oh and at a few auctions around my neck of the redneck woods I have seen this guy (same guy at different auctions) that looks just like my bil. Even dh thought so.
