totally free ring tones?

I am looking for a totally free ring tone for my verizon cell phone. I want the theme to andy griffith show. you know the whistling song... everywhere I find , verizon dont work with or the ring tone is free but you have to pay for the right to use it or some crap. anybody help me???

I did a quick search for Andy Griffith and found the following results:

You have to register for the site but it is FREE!! Hope that helps!!

Zedge.com has an enormous amount of free ringtones available. I have found ringtones there that I couldn't find anywhere else

myxer has been blocked by our cell phone company for some reason.they were the first we tried.

OMG thank you so much for this site! They actually have ringtones that will work on the iPhone! I've been making them myself from my music in iTunes, but this is so much easier!

I tried to get a free ringtone a few weeks ago but then found a charge for "joining" the site on my phone bill. Does this happen with that Myxer too?

It seems my virgin mobile phone wont accept the ringtone I picked from myxer, I have tried all the others
for the same ringtone ,is there any recommended free sites ?

Free Ringtones from Phonezoo: Make and Download Free Ringtones, Free Mobile Wallpaper and Free Mobile Games and it works great and very easy to do. ck out the funny ones. the "yo mama's calling back" is now my ringtone for my mom who calls ALOT!

That's what I have for my mom too. I found personalized ones with my kids names in them at phonezoo, now I know who's calling before I even pick it up. There's one for my husbands too.

For those that use the phonezoo, which carrier do you have? We have Verizon and I just want to make sure it still works ok and no surprise charges show up on the bill
