| Any Doll Collectors?
My mom found this doll and was wondering about it and the cost of it now. How do I go about finding out? I tried Ebay no luck there. Ideal Novelty and Toy Co. - Dolls 1950's It's about 3/4 way down the page her name is Trilby 1951 Trilby, about 19" tall, three faced doll, squeaker, vinyl face and limbs, stuffed cloth body, when you turned a knob on top of head the face changed to sleeping, smiling or crying, was dressed in a blue dress and bonnet with dark blond curly hair attached to the bonnet, doll is unmarked. |

There are a couple of books out on Ideal Dolls. Amazon.com: collector's guide to ideal dolls Maybe your library has copies. The doll sounds cute. Where did your mom find her? Curious minds want to know. ![]() Edited to add: It's possible to do a search of the 2005 edition of the book through the Amazon link. She's valued at $250 depending on condition, etc. |
