Do you get those moments when you can't believe how you missed something obvious? I've been going up to Manassas, VA for years for work -- Manassas was the site of the Battles of Bull Run, two of the major battles of the Civil War. I just realized today the reason for naming Lee and Grant Avenues what they're named.

Do you have moments when you overlook the obvious or it just doesn't click?

I am a big dork so it happens on a daily basis. Let's put it this way I'm not an idiot by a long shot but sometimes I sure act like one. When something is so obvious and I miss it or misunderstand it all I can do is either slink away in embarrassment or break out laughing depending on the situation!
And my husband ...well let's just say he's genius enough to have been a scientist or botanist or something however he reminds me of the tv husbands, you know the ones when you are watching you yell out "idiot".

LOL I guess we all do act like dorks once in a while like I said I can admit to doing it on a daily basis.

I had one just the other day. ahem...

I bought a used pack and play when Faith came to live with us. I had never had one with my other kids, and had never really used one before. Every time I have to put that thing in the bag, I would wonder why in the world they would put the handle on the floor of the p and p which you wrap around before putting in the bag, but not on the bag itself. I'm telling you I have struggled with that thing over and over...........

till the other day when I saw someone else put theirs away and they slipped the handle through the slit on the bag........

I had one the other day that was pretty big, I just couldn't believe I missed that point. I just can't remember what it was. Gosh, I must be going through the change....

I have to question my sanity lately, I was grocery shopping the other day and I looked up and saw this lady staring at me and quickly thought what the heck is she staring at me for??? Then I thought she looks familiar??? Then I blinked and realized "HEY DUMBASS there is a mirror window in front of you and it was myself! I never felt so stupid before.
