Who else saw it and found it weird that when Micheal Phelps won his first gold medal the US national anthem was all messed up? It was almost a smack in the face - embarrassing.




You guys are totally right - it probably was a glich. I was in a real foul mood last night, and was willing to think the worst ...

My granddaughter went to the school where Michael Phelps' mother worked and she met him years ago and became his pen pal for a while and I am sure she is rooting for him. I didn't see him swim but he sure is talented.

I just assumed it was simply a technical glich. Not a big deal.

Yeah same here, it sounded like it started twice and then of course ended abruptly. I assumed technical issues.
