Can't answer your poll, it just depends on the day. That being said, after almost 19 years of marriage, we still go at it 2-3x a week. Maybe that's why I keep him around-lol... What's that? TMI? Sorry 'bout that.

I think it depends on your relationship and the way you live ( lifestyles) . You may start out with 7 times a week but after years, it may go down to once a week , or once a month. As long as we (you) have a active and happy marriage, what difference does it make? To some, the sun rises and sets on sex, to others just the feeling of closeness is all that some want.


I have to say, at this point in my life, I like it as much as I can get it . I love my late 40's and am really looking forward to my 50's even. Love and Sex gets better with age!!!!

Irishblonde I have to ask you avatar is that your real cat, he or she is soooooo adorable. In your post what you wrote it so true, it does not matter the amount of times you have sex, there are many other things you and your dh or so or partner can do together and can be just as intimate. Of course things when the kids were younger we all were so tired. I too like you feel being my age 45 is wonderful and so many ladies say 50 and 60 is even more better who knows time will tell , peace Catherine

Though we still have sex an average of (2) times a week, after my "complete" hysterectomy 2 years ago at the age of 39, my libido has diminished significantly. I'm unable to take hormone replacements due to breast cancer risk (my mother had it), so I wish that I was "in the mood" more often.
