Smile Help! Anyone know how to change the resolution of a picture?

I'm trying to send some pictures of the grandkids to Walmart to have printed. Most of them have been cropped. Which is making them show up on Walmarts site as a bad resolution (will make a bad pic) and it's suggesting not to use those. I have already deleted the original pictures.

Any suggestion on how to correct this. They were great candid pix.

Thanks,
Laura

When I have done this at CVS and get the same message, I print them out anyway and take my chances. Sometimes they look just fine.

When you crop and make smaller, what you have done is reduce the amount of pixels and as far as my limited understanding goes, there is no way to increase the resolution. You can always decrease, but never increase.
