Ok as many of you know, I love all old rock and roll and I loved John Lennon, so when my son Thomas graduated from high school 3 years ago, I wrote him a long letter. In the letter I talked about alot of things and I also wrote many of the lyrics from the Song Beautiful Beautiful Baby Boy. So Hopefull one day when my son Thomas does marry he promised me we could dance to that song. I simply love that song. Mr Wonderful has been over played I believe way too many times, so kindly share peace to all . Catherine

I was just about to ask you a dumb question but as I typed it I think I figured it out. Does plmk mean please let me know? I do have a 21 year old son but I have not thought about this at all. I do think you should wait until the time comes and see what the bride wants. She may hate the song, and you don't want to start out on the wrong foot. My future mil and I had a good relationship until I started planning the wedding. Then she would complain to my dh everytime she didn't like something. From the flowers I picked out to the bread we were serving. It put a lot of added stress on us, and I ended up not likeing her very much for a few years.

My DS was married in June and the song we picked was "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins. My DDIL liked it so much that she and her DF started the dance and DS and I finished it so we could share the song!

I also love all things Disney, so that was another reason to pick the song.
