I was thinking of places I would like to live and wonder what about your state that you would recommend to someone thinking about moving there.I would love to live in Fla.I live in Ky and I can feel depression hitting me as soon as school starts.I know before long it will be so much cooler.I hate winter even tho we don't really have bad ones and I no longer drive over 120 miles daily.I love sand and sun and really wish I could move somewhere that is warmer.Hawaii sounds nice too and as soon as they build a bridge I might consider living there.LOL.(no one am I flying)Where would you live if you could choose?

I live in South Carolina, it's also hot and humid here in summer, but our winters are mild. I can't think of anywhere else I'd like to live to be honest. The people here are great, very friendly, smiling waving saying Hi to you even if you don't know them.

I love Atlanta and couldn't really live anywhere else because of family but just to dream .... I would say London. I loved it there. I worked for a short time there and could have easily stayed. It was so comfortable and safe. I loved that I didn' t need a car. I loved the shopping and food and the people. Everyone I worked with was wonderful. I look longingly back at those times. No matter how much I traveled I would always end up in London, it felt like home.

I'd move home to Germany in a heartbeat if I could.

I live in AZ and not to sure if I would recommend it. I grew up in Ohio but have been here 27 years. Right now it is HOT!!!!! I will say something positive, the winters here are so very nice. YOu can practically wear shorts all summer and if you need snow there are mountains an hour and a half away. I would just like to live on a beach!!!

I love living here in Southern California. (OC) We have great weather all year round. If I were to move somewhere else in the US it would be Boston, I know it is cold in winter and HOT in summer, but the atmosphere is so much better than here. (I also love Mike's pastries!) Outside of the US I would have to say Paris, France it's SOOO beautiful

| Living in the south all my life I have become spoiled to the mild winters But I hate the hot summers !!I guess if I could make it thu a cold hard winter with out freezing to death it would have to be Vermont. I love love love to look at the fall pictures MSN sometimes post on their site during the seasonal change. The trees are so bright, Yellow, Orange, Red. Just looking at them you seem to feel the cleanliness of the air there. I will never forget seeing a picture last year on MSN of a small town with a white church in the background it was surrounded by these beautiful trees . It was just amazing seeing that picture. I did and still do wonder what it would be like to live in that small town. |

I agree about living in New York where I am . I simply love the changing of the seasons, however we truly do not get a spring anymore. Also as far as hot flashes go I truly cannot take the super hot heat anymore so I am looking forward to Autumn, which is very beautiful here in New York. Peace Catherine

I would like to try living down south. Maybe South Carolina, Virginia etc. We live in Central Maine and I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the school systems and the people of Maine. I also love living in an area where you do not have to lock your car doors, or your house door, and you still feel safe. The summers are wonderful, and fall can be beautiful. But, as I get older the Maine winters seems so long and cold. Although I love the change of seasons, I wish winter in Maine was not so long....

I live in NY, near the PA border. I hate it. Yes we see all 4 seasons, but it's not enough to make me want to stay. I love the warmth, and the palm trees.....sunshine every day......my ideal place to live would either be South lake Tahoe, CA or Sedona/Flagstaff, AZ.

We do have gorgeous springs and falls, but winter is just long and wet and grey and summer is never-ending.

I do miss south Jersey where I grew up. I loved the four seasons (especially autumn). It stays hot down here for so long, although I guess I've gotten spoiled from the mild winters. To answer the question, I guess I'd opt to move back there...or back to Hawaii where we lived in the early 90's...Lanikai Beach on Oahu was the most beautiful beach I've ever been to. ~Lisa

I would be a hermit in the hills of Montana. No one to bother me and to be left alone! Im on a downward slide to depression these days.

I live in NJ, if I could live anywhere, I'd say Manhattan. I love going there on weekends to just walk around and to me it seems as if there would always be something to do to keep me busy. Not sure how I would feel doing grocery shopping in the city though. I also like it up by Bear Mountain, it's nice and quiet there

I live in upstate NY also. The change of seasons is nice but winter can be a little long! Usually lasts from Halloween to Mother's Day (I am not kidding...we have snow in May sometimes!) There is nothing like waking up in the winter and knowing you have to shovel for an hour before you can get your car out for work!! I absolutely love SW Florida, that would be my dream to live there. My mantra has always been I would rather sweat than freeze! So I would take hot and humid over below zero wind chills any day!

I live in Boise, Id. I like here, most the time. I really don't like the public transit. I would love to live somewhere with better public transit and a bike friendly city, such as Portland. We are very bike friendly, but sometimes it's too cold, or hot and I really just want to hope on the bus. The busus are so far and few on the routes and they stop running at 7pm! I can't go out after dinner unless I want to pay $4/gallon (yes it's still $4.02/gallon here) to drive my car.

If I could, I'd live in England. Cornwall would be my first choice...somewhere not too touristy. Second would be Liverpool. In the US I'd probably like somewhere farther north...like on a lake in Connecticut. Maureen |
