I have it feeling it depends on who the mods are and whether or not they like or involved in the topic!! There is no consistency at all. JMHO

I think it was deleted by a mod, because of personal attacks by the OP. I am not sure, but...... that was my take on it.
There is only 3 active mods on the boards now. One is on vacation.
the way I see it , if you feel a thread has been posted on too many times, then just start another one, and label it Part2.

The boards are being moderated by the members, that is the way I think the higher ups want 's the flow to go.
Heck I cant even find the posts I typed out because it was deleted.

Well, as the "attackee," I was glad to see the thread stay up so, if a mod did the deleting, I'm disappointed. Didn't bother me at all.

I know it didnt bother you truble but I guess the mod thought it was not right. Hey....... Im not the mod now, and I could give a rats butt what gets posted . I stay out of the ones I know has a bulls eye for slamming.

I'm not pointing the finger at anyone at all, just stating what I know.

I am the one that deleted the thread, I did not do it with the intention of deleting it, but wanted to lock it due to personal attacks.

We are running with very limited mods right, and we also have one of those who is on vacation, and I do not have a lot of free time due to family health issues....

If you see a post that has hit 50, please PM and I will take care of it. Or if youneed anything else feel free to PM

I am glad it was deleted. I know that some people don't like moderators to delete anything, but I don't think that kind of post creates a good environment for current or new members and/or visitors of the cafe.

I didn't see any of the posts mentioned by Nicole above as I was out most of yesterday, so I missed whatever happened. However, I didn't get any notification that the post had been deleted, nor why, until my comment above from this morning. A little explanation as to why things are done would avoid people making, sometimes erroneous, conclusions on their own.

I think the mods are trying to do the best they can, but I think there should be more of an effort to delete offending POSTS and not so much deleting threads that happen to contain a few offending posts. I believe one thread was accidentally deleted yesterday when the mod meant to only delete a post and I hope that's what happened on the other deleted thread as well.
