Try Murphy's Oil Soap w/ a soft bristle scrub brush (maybe even a nail brush). I know that the recommendation is to dilute the soap, but I have used it straight on things and had no problems. I'd try the soap and brush on a small spot to make sure there won't be any terrible reaction or discoloration. If there isn't, I would cover the area w/ the soap, let it soak/sit a bit, then give it a gentle scrub.

| I don't think you would have to scrub at all. Just let a furniture cleaner or polish soak it for a bit and the felt should come right off. I wouldn't let any product sit too long in case the finish is soft. Last edited by genichols; 08-16-2008 at 09:08 AM. |
