 He is Finally Here (& I am so done!)
My forth and final child arrived last Wednesday. I had all the others naturally, this one via emergency C-section. After all the trials and all the confusion and risk - he is here and he is perfect! 8lbs, 5 oz. I am recovering (if that is what you call it...) but in great spirts. Knowing this is our last one I am trying to soak it all up :-)

Congrats, we finished after our 4th, last one also a c-section (first one of those as well!) It sucks, but you don't bleed as bad. Try to sleep on a recliner because it helps not sleeping flat, also, after about 3 weeks it's not so bad... Congrats again!

You are blessed with a perfect little guy! C-Sects are great and I wouldn't want it any other way. Although you will have some numbness from your belly button down for awhile. About 3 weeks after my one c-sect I was sitting on the sofa with my feet on the coffee table one morning and I was resting my tea or coffee cup a little below my belly button and didn't realize until later that evening in the shower that I had burning a round coffee cup ring into my skin. I never felt a thing but I had a big blister.

Congrats! Nothing wrong with a c-section, I had two. You can't roll over in bed for about a week, but sitting's never a problem. LOL.

I'm so happy for you! Welcome, baby Joshua! How come I feel like this pregnancy felt longer to you than it did to us?? I just know your family is going to absolutely relish every minute with your new little guy.CONGRATULATIONS!

Congrats on the new baby. My sister had all 3of hers by c-section and healed quickly form them. I pray you have the same luck. Cherish every moment with him because, as you know it won't be long before he is grown. Aunt Judy |
