I got... an umbrella (totally needed a new one) note pads, really cool pens, chocolate, gum, nora roberts book, cute stickers, stationery set, 2 lip glosses, and a magnetic memo board. Thank you so much...really brightened my day!!

Woo Hoo! I came home to a BIG package today. It was so funny....there was a big Pampers box in front of the garage door. My first thought was "Oh, gosh, what marketing campaign did I sign up for?" I don't even have any little ones in my life, and I was wracking my brain trying to figure out who on earth I could give a big box of Pampers to. I hauled it in and kept wondering about why I got Pampers sent to me. About an hour later, the curiosity got the best of me and I went to see what company sent the diapers. No company...no diapers! It came from njfl It was chocked full of fun stuff! I'd probably be up all night if I told you all about it. I swear it took me an hour to unwrap every thing. DH just sat there watching, saying "wow" every now and then.

Thank you SO MUCH, Nancy! Everything is perfect! I'd swear that you lived next door and knew me really, really well!

I don't know why I am feeling embarassed about writing this - But...

I participated in the secret buddy exchange for the fun of it. It has been a week and a half since we were all due to send out our packages. I thought surely all packages would have been delivered by now. I hope I do not come off as being greedy or sour but I wanted to say, I have received nothing.

Dear Jeeplady,
Sorry I'm late posting - I was away. But OH! what a surprise awaitted me when I got home.
I love Pedicures and the home kit brought a huge smile to my face. The defuser is new to me and I can't wait to give it a try (smells YUM) What a pretty planter. My DS is into cactus and is begging for it as it looks so "dessert" I may give in -but only if he lets the replanted garden go in the kitchen.
The kids loved all the extras- last night all the kids were actually flossing their teeth. And the rest was scooped up so fast I bearly got to look.
You made the end of my summer so much brighter

Here is an update. I was hoping that everyone would have received their packages by now...but unfortunately it seems that's not the case. So..I am going to post this to try and get things settled.

I still haven't received anything, but the worst part is my buddy has posted that she hasn't received my box and it was shipped out well over two weeks ago now. If they don't get it tomorrow I will go shopping again and re-ship another package. I have done all of the exchanges without a hiccup, and the one time I didn't get delivery confirmation because I only had enough cash on me to ship it...my secret buddy doesn't get it

Fear not my buddy....I will make sure the second is as good as the first...with the hopes both will arrive and make your day twice as blessed

The storms in the south and the holiday on Monday might have slowed things up. I would wait a little longer before you shipped another package. I did an exchange on another board and told the post office when it needed to arrive. They told me how to ship it and it ended up taking about a week longer to get there. It was terrible for me waiting for it to arrive, and I felt very bad about it. I did let the person know that it had been shipped so they would not worry that they were forgotten.

Sandy917...I got in touch with your secret buddy. She said she recieved a wonderful package from you, but hasn't posted yet. Hopefully she'll post soon to thank you. So rest assured...it was received and I want to thank you for being so prompt in shipping your package out!!

lamomof2...your secret buddy told me that she has been in touch with you and was going to be sending your package out this week. I'm so sorry that it is late, and if you haven't received a package by next week, please let me know and I will make sure you get a package. Please don't give up on the secret buddy exchange...I'll make it right!!

Polve and katamasmom....both of your secret buddies have shipped their packages out. Either they are delayed or lost...again, if you don't get a package by next week, let me know and I will make sure you get a package.

After this exchange, I have learned a lot. First of all, I will make sure and get delivery confirmation on any package I ship out. Second...as soon as I can, I will post whether I shipped or received a package. Being the host of this exchange and also having participated in exchanges...I can honestly say that seeing your buddy post after receiving a package you sent to them was almost as much fun as receiving a package. Please remember...post when you SHIP a package and when you RECEIVE...it is only fair. People put a lot of time and thought into their packages.

Okay, Sandy917, here goes. I was her Secret Buddy, and man, did she outdo herself!! And on top of that , she was one of the first to send out her package!! I hadn't even given it much thought, and boom! My box was here!! Everything was just so, she must've read everyone of my posts, because it was as if she knew me inside and out! She had everything wrapped individually, with little printed out comments on each one, such as "Because you like to work in the yard" etc.. I mean unbelievable. Precious things, like a kitchen towel, hotpad, oven glove, all in a Fall print, which I am nuts about!! Fall candles!! A gardening tool holder!! I mean seriously, it was all done so sweet. She really put alot of thought into it. And here I am delinquent in commenting about it!! Sandy, please forgive me!! You really outdid yourself! I absolutely love everything!! I was blessed to have you as my Secret Buddy! This is a wondeful thing to do, and we should all be so lucky to have her as our secret buddy!! Thanks again, my daughters and I are ALL enjoying everything you so lovingly packed!! You are too sweet!!! Donna

O.K. Ladies..final update. According to my records, only one package was not received. Her buddy said that she did ship it out, so, unfortunately, it must have gotten lost. So, polve, I will be getting a box out to you to make sure you receive a package.

Other than that...besides a few delays and a couple of lost packages...it went well..lol

I am glad you liked everything!! Plus the rules say it has to cost at LEAST $10, not that you have to keep it at ten Thats how I interrupted the rules anyways!

And yes we have one cat and one kitten, so I am sure your cat is smelling them.
