Personally, I have never saw a ghost. However, I am quite psychic. My son also seems to be even moreso than myself. He can see/talk to spirits, or rather they talk to him. He hasn't learned how to turn them off yet.

There are several houses around here that are haunted.

Edited to add: I have saw a ghost. I forgot all about it! It has been several years ago and freaked me out big time. She was standing in the middle of the road waving her arms above her head as if she needed help. I went around her, looked in my rearview mirror when I got by and there wasn't anyone there.

No such thing, Casper was a friendly ghost. I thing it has to do with being tired or under the influence and an overly active imageation. If one proves me wrong I'll certainly let you know. Spirits are another issue, I think spirits are like the wind, blowing through our hair; always letting us know we are alive and to respect that gift.

Yes I believe in them and yes I have seen one. I recently saw a man standing on a street corner dressed a chimney sweep from the Dickens era and as I watched he went poof and disapppeared leaving behind a white puff of white smoke in his outline.
My house is haunted as well. Friendly ghosts one and all and they are welcome to stay.

I have a 1 hr reading scheduled with a psychic medium on Thurs Aug 28th. He was in Findlay, OH early last month and did a presentation at a local conference center with about 100 folks in attendance. It was incredible. He walked up to me and said, " you have a woman (spirit) standing next to you, she's telling me her name is Mary, who is Mary?" The hair on my arm stood up because Mary was my grandmother (my mother's mother)who passed away in 1986. He said," she is concerned about you because you worry to much about things." This was eerie because I am the queen of worrry and my DH and I talk about his all the time and how I need to quit worrying about stuff. He also said, "who very very close to you recently had cancer in the abdominal area?" I replied, "my husband recently had testicular cancer." He said that my husband will be just fine but may need to have something very minor done but everything is good. This was spooky because my DH had surgery and then followed up with radiation and has been given a clean bill of health.

I asked that evening about something I've experienced several times while in my bathroom. I will be standing at the vanity doing my hair in the mirror and I notice a man (more like a ghost/spirit type man) walk behind me from my right to left. It is so vivid that I actually turn around only to see nothing. I believe it resembles my father who passed in 1998. He told me that is my father letting me know he's there and everything is ok.

He walked up to an elderly woman in the row behind me that evening and said, "who is Mark?" The woman replied, "Mark is my stepson". He said,"Mark is beside you and keeps motioning in his lung area, did Mark pass from some type of respiratory problem?" The woman was nervous and said,"no Mark drowned a couple of years ago". It appeared that he didn't want to embarass this woman or put her on the spot since drowning is very much a lung issue and he just said, "Mark just wants you to know that he is fine and he loves you very much."

If anyone is interested please check out Felix Lee Lerma :: Psychic Medium or feel free to email me for more info.

I haven't seen one, but I do believe in them. I have gone on a ghost tour in Charleston, SC, and one in Boston and thought they were quite interesting.

If you mean have I ever experienced a "visit" from someone who has moved on to the next step of our eternal journey..then YES!
If you mean have I ever heard someone going "booooo" and shaking chains and sliming things...then NO!

I believe there are spirits that look like us living folks. I also believe that you can't always tell if what you're looking at is a "ghost" or not. I know I saw and often heard our dog after she died.

Ghost Hunters (+International) and Paranormal State, Psychic Kids...I love those shows - but I have never seen a ghost or apparition.

I am probably the very LEAST intuitive (psychic-wise) person you will ever find. I have ZERO psychic abilities.
No dreams, no cold-spots, no "Orbs" (or dust particles ) and no "visits" from the beyond. Nothing - and my daughter died in 1989 and I've heard nothing from her.

But I do believe it's possible the dead have the ability to make contact with people after they die. I think you just have to be special to be able to pick-up on it.

A few "incidents":

My children get little orbs around them in pictures...I have always believed these are spirits.

Lately the tv that was owned by my late grandmother has been turing itself on...scares the CRAP out of me! It's in the basement and we have a dvd player hooked up to it for the boys to watch their thomas dvds on and I will be the only one down there all the sudden it turns on by itself. My husband has also reported on this creepiness...

I have always believed there is a friendly spirit living with us because when we first moved in, I would be the only one home in the basement and I could hear someone walking around upstairs.

When my second was born, he would stare up at a doorway we have by a lazyboy recliner and just laugh at the air. He was really tiny when he would do this. Now, he crawls around that area and laughs at the air pointing up. I mean, hysterical belly laughs. My first born always talks about a man in our bedroom...now that's creepy!

Maybe these are just coincidences but the tv has me baffled.

Our tv in the basement does the same thing. We will turn it off and then get about half way up the stairs and on it comes again. Sometimes it will do it multiple times. Also will come on while we aren't even home!

We also get the orbs, can't be dust because it does it no matter where we are. They used to mainly be around DS but they are now all around all 4 of us in every picture. I'll go find some and see if I can get them to post.

My dh and I spent a night at a local inn (The Lucerne Inn). At the time of our stay I had no idea that it was rumored to be haunted. A few months after our stay, we watched a special on local tv about the hauntings of the Inn. It was strange because while we were watching it I noticed the room that was haunted looked like the room we had stayed in on our previous visit. My dh went into our bedroom and looked at the key we had accidently brought home with us, and it was indeed room 8..the haunted room. We both just looked at each other and laughed because the night we stayed at the inn, I kept complaining to him about the strange music I kept hearing. It was muffled, old piano music. I thought it was the music they were playing down in the dining room, but when we went down to dinner....there was no music playing. I actually was rather ticked off because I kept hearing it and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep. Now...we are wondering about the strange music....hmmmmm

When I was pregnant with my son, I had a "visit" from a spirit.

I was sound asleep when I woke up with a start and heard a very calm male voice speaking to me. He said "You will have a boy and his middle name will be Clifford." I sat straight up and said "WHAT???" and he said it again, in exactly the same way, same calmness. And then the spirit left the bedroom. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind from that moment on that I would have a boy because I believe the spirit was my guardian angel. The voice was so calm but there was no doubting it that it was telling me the absolute truth.

And I DID have a son and his middle name IS Clifford!

I believe in them.
My daughter and I went to visit an old, old elementary school that just happens to still be standing but has alot of brush and grown up trees almost hiding it from the road. Anyway we asked the neighbors about it and if it would be alright if we walked up to it and looked around they said sure just be careful. We walked in this 3 room old school house and took pictures. I didn't think anything of it until I downloaded the pic's in one there is this little boy standing by the railing and 3 little girls beside him all various ages. The other pic shows a little boy in over hauls sitting on a step with a dog in fron of him and someone's leg, where they are walking up the stairs it showed like an old timey boot. The next one showed a siloette(spelling) of a woman in a window, looks like she's praying.
I thought I had gone nuts at first then sent the pic's to friends and asked them to tell me what they say if anything and they seen what I saw and asked me who they where....
So yes I do believe in ghosts and spirits and other paranormal.

Yes, seen (once) and heard regularly.

My library (I'm an elementary school librarian) has the spirit of young girl living there. I remember reading about a young girl being killed in a farming accident long before the school was built but I didn't think much about it until the odd things began to happen within a few weeks of me working there. I have heard her giggle more than once when I was in the stacks shelving books. Each time I assumed it was a student who came in without me hearing the door open and got up to help them. Imagine my surprise when I found myself completely alone in the library! I've only seen her once and it was only a glimpse out of the corner of my eye. But, again, I thought it was a student and turned to help and there was no one there. She seems to get upset if the library is used in the evening too many days in a row by the after school childcare. It's almost like I can feel her agitation. I had never given much thought to ghosts or spirits before but I am very much a firm believer now! According to our custodians, there is also a male ghost that inhabits our upstairs classrooms. He's been seen by several people and caused more than one sub-custodian to leave. We even had one of our after school childcare people refuse to be alone in any of the rooms because of an encounter with the male ghost.

I have never seen one but I believe in them. I also enjoy watching the ghost hunting shows. I have a psychic energy about me but I cant talk or see dead people. I just have feelings sometimes and they usually end up being right, especially if I know someone well and they are gonna have a baby I can tell them what they are having. Not right away but it will just like come to me and I am right. Its a little freaky i guess...lol

my cousin's grandma on her mom's side had pshyic abilites. People use to call her crazy old lady squares (her last name). My cousin was a twin and they were born a couple months early, and they thought my cousin was gonna die. and about a week after they were born they were driving home from the hospital coming from visiting them, and at the time both of them looked good, and she said that the other twin had died and my uncle and his wife said oh you are crazy. Then got home and got a phone call from the hospital and the exact time she had said that is when my cousin's sister died. There are other examples, they always raise my hairs when we talk about what she knew.

I didn't see one but I sure felt one. I was about 19-20 years old and I was living on the 3rd floor of the oldest building of the town I was living in. I was "nappish" (not really sleeping but just dozing off) I had just met this guy a couple of weeks earlier and we were really getting along great but nothing physical had yet happened. While I was trying to nap one afternoon, I felt a knee go down on the bed beside me and felt someone sort of lie down across me and hug me. I was lying on my stomach and can remember thinking "that's kind of bold of him considering......). Well I opened my eyes and looked back over my shoulder and there was no one there. At the time I opened my eyes and looked I felt "whoever" get up off the bed. I knew it was a good spirit because it was a very peaceful feeling at the time it was happening.

I do believe in spirits but I do not understand them. We rented a house from a friend 2 years ago and I used to hear someone walking down the hall at night. I always just assumed it was one of the cats. One night DH and I were in bed talking (and the 2 cats were with us) and we both heard it. It was so loud I got up thinking it was one of the kids out of bed. Both boys were sound asleep in their beds. I asked our friend about it and she said she often heard it too, but she did a lot of drugs when she lived there and just thought that was the cause.

When I was a teenager I was at a friends house and didn't feel well. I went upstairs and laid down on her bed and fell asleep. She came up to bring me some water and said I was ghost white and not breathing. She started to shake me frantically and I woke up. Once I was up all the color came back and I was fine. I had a dream that a friend that died the summer before was talking to me.

Sometimes I can "feel" something bad is going to happen. I will never forget Sept. 10, 2001. I was talking with my neighbor at about 9pm and she looked at me and said "something very bad is going to happen tomorrow. It's going to be HUGE and a lot of people are going to be effected." I asked her what she was talking about and she said "I just have this awful feeling about tomorrow. What ever it is is going to be in history books." I was woke up on Sept. 11 by her banging on my front door. She was even freaked out by her feeling.

My great aunt passed before I was born, she lived with her sister. When grandma and I would go to spend the night the sister would wake us up with her telling her dead sister to leave her alone so she could sleep. We thoguht it was cause she was up in years and missing her dead sister. this was when i was 10 or so.

My parents moved into the house when my other great aunt passed. I moved back home to stay with them for a little while I had just woken up and was laying there just looking at the ceiling fuming over my ex and how much of a ... pian he was when i glanced at the doorway and foggy oval shape was in the doorway, somehow I felt like it was my aunt. I said I was fine and not to worry and the shape left. never "felt" them there since. my mom said she always felt her there watching over the house but never said anything

Course my dh thinks I'm weird anyway, we go home to visit family every year and I always go to moms grave and talk to her and tell her about her grandkids bring flowers and stuff. Be doing that for my grandpas grave next visit guess I dont want them to think i forgot them. though I still tear up at the thought of not having my grandpa here

I do believe in spirits/ghosts/whatever, but I can't really say that I've ever "seen" one, because I only caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye. I didn't see it head-on, so I can't be certain of what it was that I actually saw. One night about 2 months ago, when I was home by myself. I could have sworn I saw someone walk past me while I was at my computer. There were no foot step sounds, it was about 2 feet away from me, and it disappeared into the kitchen. I only caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye, but it definitley appeared to be a side view someone walking (legs moving & arm swinging back and forth as they walked). It was way too big to be one of the cats, DH was at work and DS was out with friends, so it really freaked me out. But of course (and thankfully), when I went into the kitchen, no one was there.

Not including the above, I've had 3 of what I believe to be spiritual or supernatural encounters, though I've never actually "seen" an apparition. The first happened when I was 15yrs old, but I won't tell that story. I know that it sounds far-fetched, and if I hadn't been there to witness it, I wouldn't even believe it myself.

The 2nd incident was........

When I was about 18/19yrs old, I lived in the upstairs apartment of an old house that had been remodeled into 3 apartments. (basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor) At the time, I was unmarried and it was just me, DS (who was about 18mos then) and the cat. I couldn't afford a telephone, so I use to sleep with a hammer underneath my pillow for protection incase anyone ever broke in while I was sleeping. (My family calls me paranoid , I just think I'm cautious. LOL) DS use to sleep in bed with me, so I didn't want to keep a knife or anything dangerous under my pillow that he could hurt himself with if he were to stick his hand under my pillow while we were sleeping.

Well....You know how sometimes you just wake up in the middle of the night, and your wide awake for no apparent reason? One night I woke up around 2am and was wide awake. I turned over onto my side, laid my head down and closed my eyes to try and fall back to sleep..... when all of a sudden, I heard whispering. I lifted my head off the pillow (so I could listen with both ears) to see if I was hearing what I thought I was hearing. At the exact same time, my cat (who was sleeping right next to me) lifted up his head, looked at the doorway and gave out one single meow. The doorway is where I thought the whispering was coming from as well.... and when my cat confirmed it, I was terrified. At first, I thought someone (or some people) had broken in while I was asleep, and they were whispering to each other. The whispering was indistinguishable, but it lasted about 15 seconds.... which was long enough for me to realize I was NOT dreaming, and I WAS hearing what I thought I was hearing. I laid in bed clutching my hammer (If I were a guy, I wouldn't be able to get away with saying that. ), waiting to see what was going to happen next. WIDE AWAKE and listening intently, I never heard anymore sounds.

Eventually, sometime between 4 and 4:30am, I had to go to the bathroom. So, I got up.... and with my hammer in one hand , and my cat in the other , I bravely went to go check out the other rooms in my apartment to see if I had an intruder. Lo-and-behold, there was no intruder, and nothing at all had been disturbed.... Nothing missing, nothing moved, windows and doors were all still locked and untampered.

All that day, I kept trying to rationalize and logically figure out what it was that I'd heard. Since the neighbor below me worked a 9-5 job, she would have been asleep at the time of the incident. And even during the evenings when she was home and watching TV or had guests (rarely), they'd have to get pretty loud for me to hear them at all. Plus, there were no vents near where I'd heard the whispering, and both my kitty and I agreed, it definitely sounded as if it were right outside my bedroom door. So, I'm quite sure it wasn't a neighbor that I'd heard.

Another time when I was living in the same apartment.... Right after I got in bed to go to sleep, I heard a tapping sound coming from my living room. It was kind of loud and sounded like DS's wooden building blocks when he'd tap them together, but DS was already in bed asleep. So, I got up to go check it out, and when I opened the living room door, the tapping stopped. I never could figure out what was making that sound either.

The 3rd incident was........

When I was visiting family in NC about 3yrs ago, my mother and I shared a bed at my aunts house (old house). On 2 separate occasions during our visit, I was awakened to the smell of roses, while my mother and everyone else were still sleeping. I've never really liked the smell of roses (Some of them make me feel sick if I smell them.), but for some reason it didn't bother me..... it gave me a calm feeling. And the rose fragrance did not envelop the whole room, it just seemed to waft near my face. There were no flowers, candles, air fragrance/fresheners or anything of the sort in the bedroom or any other room that I could find. They did have some candles in the living room and kitchen, but they were not rose fragrance and they hadn't been lit. The only flowers they had outside were mums, and they were on the opposite side of the house. And the neighbors houses were not very close by.

Yes, I do. I've seen a few ghosts over the years and my ds has also seen some. There is no doubt in my mind.
