Recommend hair product -- long curls?

I have longish hair with natural wave. Can anyone recommend a hair product that would bring out the curls more? I had thought about getting a perm but why not work with what I already have? Thanks!

I have course long wavy hair.

I recently bought Marc Anthony products for curls at Walgreens. ($7.99) I bought the shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouse. I love it. It is the first products I can use that 1. Doesn't give me the wet look and 2. is not stiff and sticky. (it's in a yellow bottle)

I will wash my hair, let it towel dry for a few minutes. Use a big comb and comb it out, put in the mouse and scrunch. I then let it air dry some more. (about 35 mins). Then use the blow dryer on low to finish getting the wetness out. I really like it and I have gotten a lot of compliments. ( I usually wear my hair in a ponytail because I could never get it to do anything before). But now I am wearing it down a lot more. For the price, it is worth a try..

I have long curly/wavy hair and I use Loriel Pro Vive (it's in the pink bottles) and it's specifically for long hair that's wavy/curly. I use both the shampoo and conditioner. It really does bring out more curl/wave and it makes it look like you have golden strands of silk in your hair. Makes my hair very shiny and soft. This is the only thing I've tried that actually works.

Does the mousse make it crunchy?

I loved Garnier Fructis Curl & Shine Leave in Cream but they've discontinued it - aggh! It really brought out the curl in my hair.

So, thanks for both these suggestions!

I have medium length hair that is wavy on top and curly underneath. I use the Aveda line of curling products (shampoo, conditioner). I LOVE their Be Curly cream....fab! No crunch either (which mouse will sometimes do. I have tried the drugstore stuff (like Loreal, Aussie, Garnier, etc) and they all dried my hair out too much and took away curl. Everyone is different so good luck!

Right now, I'm using Phyto Organics shampoo/conditioner (JC)-look for it on sale) along w/ Garnier curl shaping spray gel and love it No frizz and plenty of curls. Just do what the others said, towel dry, comb, nad scrunch.

No it does not make it "crunchy". I hate that feeling and looking wet. This seems to keep it soft and tamable.

Cuthie,

I just came across this, while I tried unsuccessfully to find a book called "Releasing Your Inner Curl"

Curly Girl: More Than Just Hair...It's an Attitude A Celebration of Curls How to Cut Them, Care for Them, Love Them, and Set Them Free (Paperback, 2002)
Author: Deborah Chiel, Lorraine Massey

This book looks so interesting to me - it's not the one I was looking for, but it sure looks like it covers the same thing: CURLS!

I am also a big fan of the VIVE line of conditioners, and Fruictis conditioner. And I don't rinse everything out at the ends.
