Birth Control Question

I have been on birth control for the past 6 months (Loestrin FE) I am scheduled to get me period on Saturday. I know there is a way, I'm just not sure, I want to delay my period for one day. Does anyone know how to do it using birth control. I called their 800# however the are closed due to the holiday.

Thanks

Macagno

You can take another pill or two from your next pack. You can delay it for as long as you continue to take pills. My sister does this when she has an important event that will be hampered by a period, like a vacation, a wedding...etc.

She checked with her Dr. and he said it was ok to do this.

Hope this helps

Normally you'd just skip the break pills. and go right on to the next pack, which may lead to some spotting with lower dose pills like yours. Not harmful, just an FYI.
