Quick and Simple, a weekly magazine I enjoyed very much has stopped publishing.
They gave me a choice of a refund or Good Housekeeping but I don't like that so I took the refund. I really loved this one and will miss it!

I liked it too, that's too bad.

There are so many magazines along that line out though, maybe there was too much competition? I know I have been trying to cut back on my magazines, I picked up Redbook today and it was $3.50! I could read every one on the shelf, but not for that price forget it, I need milk more than a magazine I'll be finished with in 30 minutes.

I am very surprised by this. I work in the magazine business, and I thought Quick& Simple sold fairly well. It certainly was affordable compared to some of the others and featured great recipes and general well-being tips. I personally like that kind of publication.

I think the economy is really taking a toll on many sectors including the publication industry.

I'm sorry to hear this. I picked up a copy of Q&S a couple of times at the grocery store. I liked it because it was reasonably priced and contained good, informative tips and articles.
