Yes, I saw it. They pointed it out on Nightline as a moment of the night that involved spit. It was very cute.

I told DH, "That little girl is going to be a good mama someday!" How many times have we done that to our kids and not even thought about it? Sweet moment in the midst of such partisan politics from both sides.

that was too cute-while I felt a bit harsh about Palin before running for this position, last night's speech was amazing. And just seeing that little girl "fix" the baby's hair-oh gosh-again, too cute.

I agree that they are a beautiful family and that was a very sweet moment; however the cynic in me sees the possibility that it was scripted or set up to evoke just the responses it got.

While it wouldn't surprise me if it was suggested that it'd be nice to pass the baby around during the speech for some nice photos, I don't think you can script a little kidlet doing the spit thing quite like that. I think she'd have been peeking around to see if there were cameras watching her if she was *supposed* to do it. Cute stuff!
