Question Who's a wrapper????

No misspelling!

I have had a few birthdays & showers the past couple of weeks, and I love to wrap the gifts! I know my sister hates it, and am wondering which category you fall into?!

Are you the type with a wrapping station, complete with all kinds of gift toppers you make or buy or
do you pick up a gift bag at CVS on the way to the party?

I'm a gift bag girl. I usually have a stash of them in my closet.

I wrap if it's only one or two gifts. More than that and it kills my back.

If it is a gift for a child I will usually wrap it. Anyone else gets a gift bag.

The prettier the package, the better. I'm a sucker for buying pretty paper and lots of ribbon. I also make fabric bags and tie them with a pretty ribbon. People love them because they can use the bag over and over. They often ask if it's OK for them to keep the bag. Umm. Yeah, it's part of the gift!

And they are adorable!!!

I love to wrap, but I also love gift bags. I like buying plain gift bags and decorating them to fit the theme of the gift.

I don't have a permanent wrapping station, but my closet it full of different wrapping papers, bows, ribbons, gift bags, tags, tiny ornaments, tissue paper, flowers, and anything I think would make a pretty addition to a well wrapped gift. I am also a snob when it comes to wrapping paper, I hate really thin paper, like the kind at the dollar tree, etc. I like a cloth-like feel or dense paper when wrapping, if I find high quality wrapping paper on clearance I'll but it no matter the print is. Sooner or later I am sure I will need it!

I hate to admit it but a lot depends on the peson I am giving the gift to. If I like the person I go all out to wrap it nicely and really enjoy doing it. If its a kid or I am not thrilled with the occasion its a recycled gift bag. It may be a bit passive aggressive but it works for me.

freer--Do you just make a basic fabric bag, i.e. rectangle, or is it more complicated? Sounds like a neat idea, but I am a novice sewer, so wondering how difficult that might be.

I only wrap at Christmas time.....since the packages are put under the tree WAY before Christmas....

I gift bag everything else...the cheaper the better as most of the time, the gifts are going to kids and they don't care about packaging anyways!

I love to wrap presents (except at Christmas time, when sometimes it's overwhelming with all the kids) I love picking out paper, and ribbons and little things to add to the top of the package. When I do gifts for my grandmothers though, I put them in gift bags, so they don't have to struggle to get them open.........

My first paid job was as a wrapper in a department store at Christmas time. I still love to wrap!

I hate wrapping! Last Christmas was awesome because my girls got into and I let them wrap everything that wasn't theirs! I loved it!

I usually wrap for little kids. I reuse Birthday bags. I also reuse Christmas bags, but we wrap more than we bag for Christmas.

I love to wrap if I have the time! I tend to get creative such as baby showers wrap the gift in a receiving blanket!

and you ladies who love to wrap and have the time! offer a wrapping service at Christmas time and you can make a bundle! but you have to be very organized!I've done it when I was a sahm, I went to the dept stores and saw what they were offering and under cut them! bought a lot of embellishments and paper at the dollar store. made about a 75% profit on each package I wrapped!

I have a wrapping room.

Peg boarded out with gift bags, tissue, ribbons, boxes, wrap, cards for every occasion. I have shelves with small hostess gifts and keep a large calendar in there with all the important dates.

If I'm out shopping, and I see something cool but really have no use for it, sometimes it ends up in the gift room.

Martha would be proud.

I'm such a sloppy wrapper! I recently took my kids with me to give my friend her birthday gift. She said "Awwww I see someone helped Mommy wrap my gift!"
OMG noooooo Mommy didn't get help. Mommy just sucks at wrapping presents. lol

I'm a wrapper - I love to wrap. At Christmas I clear a big spot on the living room floor and wrap almost all the gifts at one time and that is 50+ (large extended family). I'm not to fond about putting on the ribbon though

I AM SO JEALOUS!!!

I love wrapping and have often dreamed of a Christmas/eBay room where I can sit around all day packaging and wrapping...then sitting back and admiring

I hate giving away Christmas gifts since they "decorate" my place so nicely
