How to get sticky stuff off jersey

MY DS left a sticker on his Colts Jersey and it got washed. I didnt dry it, but the top layer of the sticker came off and it left the sticky stuff on it. Any ideas on getting it off.

I've never tried WD40, but Goo Gone works for me, my DD always leaves stickers on shirts

If the other stuff doesn't work, get some stuff called Goof Off. It stinks to high heaven but it works great - it gets gum off clothing and permanant marker off my wood dining table.

Goo gone seems to be the most used. I am very curious about the peanut butter. What do you do exactly. I may try that first since I have peanut butter and if that doesnt work, go get some goo gone.

If the peanut butter doesn't work, I've seen Goo Gone at the Dollar Tree (if you live near one).
