Where do you buy your personal checks?

I have always ordered from the coupon inserts, but haven't seen much of them lately. I decided to look on line and didn't realize there are so many places you can get them, so I am looking for a good deal and an honest place to get them(giving out bank acct. number scares me a bit).

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michelle

I get them free from the bank. I can't see spending money on something I can get for free, especially when I only write a couple of checks a month (gotta love internet banking). Have you checked to see if your bank offers them free?

Wow...glad my bank doesn't do that! YIKES. I have totally free checking with no fees. I even get a free cash reserve account (so if I overdraw m account nothing will bounce) . I have never had to *use* the cash reserve account but it's nice to know it's there if something goes wrong and my account gets overdrawn. My account also allows me use to the small size safe deposit box for free. I am anal about my statements so I would know if I was getting charged fees. I know when I was with Wells Fargo they tried to fee me to death which is why I switched to Key

My credit union gives us free checks too. No hidden costs. They're plain, but they're the type that make a copy of every check you write, so I like 'em just fine. (As I said when the teller told me I could get free checks, but they wouldn't have a picture on them, "If they're free, I'd take 'em if they had a picture of a toilet on them.")

I get checks from my credit union. Not the cheapest option but not too bad. I write about 5 checks a month so 1 box lasts a LONG time, more than a year.

I think checks with pictures of toilets on them would be hilarious!

Actually, I do too! I often feel like I'm just flushing money down the toilet when I pay bills anyway, might as well express it on my checks.

I hardly ever use checks so I just use the free bank ones. I use my debit for most things.
