They absolutely do not work! I tried to put nylon netting over the end, so I could stick them in the dirt and that didn't work either. Dirt gets up in the tube when you push the aqua globe in the ground. I paid $65.88 for eight of them. Is there anyway I can get my money bacK.

I have 12 that I received as a gift and they work great. the key to getting them to work is your plants have to been planted in potting soil. not dirt from outside. the potting soil is softer and it allows them to drip the water. the outside dirt gets hard and it plugs the end of them. we have tons of house plants and would love to have enough for all of them. hoping I get another 12 for christmas this yr!

My DSis bought these for an elderly friend of hers who LOVES plants but kept forgetting to water them. They are both thrilled with them. My DSis fills them when she goes to visit. Her elderly friend calls them her "plant maids". They have been using them since late fall.

We bought some for my SIL and he says they work great.

I paid $9.99 for a two-pack at BB&B.

I believe I saw them at Walgreens this week for $9.99 (2-pk).

I've also wondered if they work. Do they work for all types of plants regardless of how much water the plant requires?
