The kids and I love Hero's. I'm glad it is back but I can't remember what the cliff hangers were. Can anyone help me out? It looks like it is going to be a great season.

We're looking forward to it, too!

3togetready, I just checked tvguide.com and there is a recap show on right before the new episode. It says "Cast members host a countdown show. Included: a review of important plot points; a lineup of suspects in Nathan's shooting; a look at the special-effects process; a sample of translated episodes airing internationally; and an exploration of the series' subtle nods to Star Trek."

Great show last night!! That show makes my brain work. I get so confused and try to figure out who's good and who's bad. I think they show both sides of the characters!

Wow. What a roller coaster. Lots of surprises, twists. Good storyline but a lot to absorb.
Throughout the night I was saying "I hate Sylar". Peter's mom - whoa.
The Niki storyline - strange.
The new characters.
Like I said, a lot to absorb. The season definitely opened with a bang.

Can't wait to see next week's episode.

I just watched the second episode of this season. I don't know...I'll give it a chance and continue to watch....but I'm not thrilled with the direction it's taking so far.

And I really really despise Sylar.

I totally agree! The first 2 episodes were shocking to say the least, but at least there was story. Now this third episode is back to dull predictable story lines with me and my ds yelling at the screen, lol.

I loved the first season all the way. The second season was so drawn out and dull but I stuck with it. I do hope they can somehow capture that same excitement and direction of that first season.

Same here.
The Hiro time-travel-following-the-speedster storyline is really getting tiring. WHY did he open the safe in the first place? <sigh>
And the cop being in Africa and the the "seer" that paints the pictures *yawn*
Claire running and chasing someone AGAIN
Just so much. It's starting to border on the ridiculous.

Again, I agree. Season 1 and 2 were FANTASTIC. This season is starting off with a tedious feel to it. I remember we could not WAIT to see next week's episode. Now, I'm beginning to have that "meh" reaction and losing my excitement and anticipation in seeing it.

I'm hanging in there though!

Wow

Although the episodes have gotten a bit more gory ... (I have to preview them now before lettings boys watch, while before, we all watched together), I think it's just as exciting. I still am on the edge of my seat at the end of each espisode and think the writers are wonderful to just keep turning new corners and throwing in more drama to keep us coming back. I was really keeping my fingers crossed that this wouldn't be one of the shows cancelled due to the writer's strike.
I was really starting to like Journeyman, and over the course of the strike, I noticed some previews of other movies with the lead actors starring, so that's how I found out it wasn't coming back -- man! But that's another thread ...
Oh, and Pushing Daisies! I loved that one!

Wow! They have really stepped it up. The twists, especially with Angela and Arthur Petrelli. And Peter. I really love his character.
I was like nooooooo when his father hugged him. What a jerk.

And for a couple of weeks I liked Skylar .
But he's back, and so is my dislike of him (grrrrr).

And sorry, but Claire is too whiney. I still don't like her storyline.

The show is really good again

I met Milo Ventimiglia & Adrian Pasdar (Brothers Petrelli)

My oldest dd (15) and I were at the airport to pick up her friend, and all the sudden, she says "MOMMY, there's the guys from Heroes!!!" It's her fave show (I don't watch). Low and behold, there they were, getting a shoe shine. She was nervous, so I walked with her and introduced her. Milo was SO nice! He introduced Adrian, they had a short conversation and then I thanked them. She was so happy - then she came home and told dh, who is also a fan and he was sorry he didn't go with us! LOL. It pays to live in L.A. sometimes. Then, walking out, we saw Danny Glover.

Of course I'm watching HEROES

And then, as always, I'm going to bed and hoping like made that I wake up the next morning with Peter's powers (before he lost them). I bet (hope) he gets them back.
