We had a party at Build A Bear today or I would have never been at the mall myself, but it was PACKED! It looked like Christmas time, the cars were all of the way to the end of the rows, the lines in Borders and Old Navy were to the back of the store, just amazing!

You couldn't tell the economy is in such termoil by looking at the shoppers that were out today!

I used coupons for BAB and my $25 GC from the American Express deal so left there only spending about $40 including lunch, so not bad for a trip to the mall with 2 kids.

People are buying but not paying their mortgages?

You bet. All while wearing their expensive fake nails, talking on their cell phones to their kids on their cell phones, having parked their oversized vehicle that they put the pedal to the metal to get there, and having lunch out while buying crap they deem "necessary".

Then they cry and cry that nothing is their fault. Not their fault they can't afford their mortgage for their overpriced, oversized home that they are rarely in ! You bet. Not their fault.
