In Cedar Rapids, a woman had seen a bat in the house. She reported the bat, but they were unable to locate it. So she sets her coffee maker before she goes to bed. Gets up in the morning, has a cup. Later that day when she washes the coffee filter she finds the bat. Seems it was in the filter. She is undergoing rabies tests now. The bat remains were no help, its brain was "cooked". This just makes me gag

someone told me once, they found a stinkbug in the coffee filter , after they drank the coffee-----eeeewwwwwww!!!!

Good thing that bat was already dead, cuz I would have killed it! Don't mess with my Starbucks! Hand over the coffee and no one gets hurt....Just wondering how he got into the filter?

When we get bats in the house they always try to find something with moisture in it. In our last house when we came back from vacation we found a bat on a sponge. Recently, in my new house, I found three, yes three bats in the house. One was in the bathroom shower. Bats can fit in really small spaces so it may have crawled in there or it may have been open.

BTW the only reason we recently had bats was because we are remodeling and the siding and soffits were off of the house for about a month. They are really helpful by getting rid of bugs, but bat coffee NO THANKS.

Ewwwwwwwww! Good thing I don't like coffee.
