Can you imagine what it must be like when the Duggar family has a stomach virus?!!!

When one of our family members gets sick, it is a chain reaction, it is like weeks before we can go out and do normal things again. I was just thinking, can you imagine the laundry and clean-up when there is like 20 people let alone a stomach virus????!!!

Yes I can!! My friends with the 9 kids have had that a few times and with only two toilets!! It's not a pretty scene! But Joan, the mom, just takes it all in stride. She just hands out buckets to everyone and says try not to miss. She told me once-and this is gross in case you want to stop reading-there was poop and puke everywhere. Actually that one was a few years ago when they were all younger and they only had one toilet. She had the washer/dryer running all day on that one. Luckily, they don't usually get it all at once. It's usually over a few days. They are the only family I know that doesn't freak out with the stomach flu. I guess you can't with that many bound to get it.

lol that's funny cause I was looking through a magazine the other day and there was a hint box in the corner saying Kate suggests having little kids help cut coupons to learn early the value of money. I'll see if I can find the magazine again I might have tossed it dureing packing

I guess she must have changed her mind. I heard her make the comment on one of the first shows. I guess with all the babies she had at the time, she probably didnt have a chance to clip coupons. It is a great way to teach the value of money to kids. Worked for me. lol. she is lots nicer this season than last season. I remember the big stink when they were in the store and she told Jon to "STAY" lots of the shows message boards got blasted about her treating him like one of the kids or a pet. I havent heard her be as rude to him as she was in the beginning.

I think they were at a Toys 'r Us store. I remember that incident. It made me mad! She is pretty bossy, which probably helps with all those children, but she was really rude that day. Of course, we all have those moments.
