I want a night away with my hubby! We usually go to a local inn and spend the afternoon enjoying the warm fire and sharing a few glasses of wine. Then we have a nice dinner right at the Inn. Its very relaxing!!!

I am getting what I want! The first time in 24 years I am going to spend the holidays in Germany with my Mom.

Well of course first and foremost a happy and healthy new year for my whole family, Also perhaps to find a cure for the many stomach problems my ds Thomas lives with. Ok besides that I truly want another Shetland Sheepdog, We have 3 and I would truly truly love another so much. Dh says we will look into it around christmas time. Besides that to redo my master suite bedroom, it been 5 years and we need a new vanity and the pink has to go. Peace. Catherine

I like "event" gifts. I'm lousy at remembering who gave me what item/what year/for what event so I prefer going to see a show or visiting a theme restaurant with the gifter.

Other than that anything practical that will make my life easier is appreciated most. I always read the "what would grandma like for Christmas?" lists and am filled with envy even though I'm 29 - if only my loved ones would lavish me with tube socks, fuzzy slippers, stationery, stamps, etc at Christmastime I'd be glowing for weeks

I never, in my entire life, thought that I would say this, but......I don't want a darn material thing. Usually, when one of my kids asks me what I want, I always have a ready, reasonably priced answer. This year, they're on their own.

That's not to say that there aren't things I wouldn't mind getting, like some books or GCs. But honestly? There's not a thing I'm dying to have. That I can't live without. That I would miss having. Even jewelry!

Crap! When did I lose my materialistic ways and how can I get them back??!!!!


Except for a cruise. By the way.... I hate you!!!!! But I'm going on a cruise in May, so I'll only hate you for 7 months!
