I'm sorry to read this.
Apparently they are closing 120 stores nationwide.
Seven are listed as closing/closed in my state.

Yikes. Thanks for letting us know. I have a $100 gift certificate I have to use up. (I really don't like that store much, but I don't want to just lose $100 either. I guess I'll buy some spare bed pillows!

Ours closed several months ago. It was a new store, maybe a few years old. We do still have a Bed, Bath and Beyond right down the road from where the Linen and things used to be. I thought it was odd that they put them so near each other.

The one near us is staying open but many in our state closed. I don't shop there often but if they were gone, Bed Bath and Beyond wouldn't take expired or competitors coupons anymore. When LNT was closed (ie: partially destroyed) by a big snowstorm many years ago, BB&B stopped taking competitors and expired coupons. So...we need them both around for competition

Our LNT just relocated into an upscale new mall ... strange.

Mine is closing and I got some good deals on bed pillows. Pkg of 2 $7.99 regulary $14.99. I`m going back to get some more. The sign said 30%off but it was better than that.

The cashier at the LNT near me told me that gift cards were no longer being honored by certain stores. COUPONS, too! Gosh, I hope those with gift cards can use them!

I just went to mine. They still had a big sign up saying they accept competitors coupons and they took my gift card without any problem. Better safe than sorry though.

I happened to stop at one today, simply because I was driving by. The sign in the window said last 4 days, deep discounts. I thought great ! Maybe I will find a few true bargains.

It was not to be. The "deep" discounts were 30 - 50 % off. No better than any other sale, imo. The inventory left was perhaps 1/4 of what typically would be in the store. I know people flock to stores going out of business and blindly think they are getting great deals, but 30 - 50 %, again to me is a sale. This store has been there in a new plaza about 2 years. Also about this time last year, the Rag Shop went out of business next door ( and they did do deep discounts). This plaza is right off the interstate, so lots of traffic.
