I Am Up to 50 Lbs Lost!!!

I have lost 50 lbs since the beginning of April. I did this by increasing my level of exercise to walking 2 to 4 miles a day just about every day and doing Pilates three times a week in my own living room.

I have also gone to Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, Food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate to see how many calories I was consuming to keep up my fat weight and I was shocked.

I lowered my portion size to the right normal portion size listed on the package or what I know the proper portion to be. I only consume the number of calories a day that is right for my petite build.

Most importantly I have a FatAss Friday every week where I eat delicious sugar and fat. I either go to an all you can eat or make a feast at home that includes lots of dessert. The next day I go back to the right habits.

I have gone from a 18/20 top to 14/16 and bottoms from 20 or 22 to 18. Undies two sizes down.

The reason I am posting this is that on this board we often discuss weight loss. I want everyone to know how easy this was.

I am not smarter, better, or more loved by God than anyone else out there. As a matter of fact I may be dumber than most as for most of my life I was in denial about the amount of food I was eating and the reasons I was so fat and unhealthy.

If I can do it there is not person in the world who cannot.

Congratulations! That's great!

I seriously need to lose 20 - it's all in my flabby gut - the worst place for someone who's family is full of diabetes & heart disease. I try & try, but I have no will power and have an insatiable sweet tooth. I just love to eat.

Congratulations, Anna - keep up the good work! Weight loss is achievable for anyone by mustering up the willpower to increase activity level and decrease food intake....I so agree with you. Nice job!
