Usually the vendors for the companies do that, put out the coupons and the peelies. The job I quit earlier this year was working as a vendor for a sales brokerage company for the military. Our company got paid to represent many companies within the military stores, like Yankee, Godiva, Kraft, Nabisco, Coty fragrances, Calgon, Healing Gardens, Johnsons & Johnson, Phizer, Listerine, Brachs, Wet & Wild, Rimmel, Vanity Fair, Hanes, Alco tools, Starbucks, and a bunch more I worked for like 20 different companies. The companies decide when they want to have the promotion, then they send the coupons to vendor, who puts them out in the stores locally during the time frame of the promotion. If the coupons expire, we would also have to check back and take down anything expired that was still in the store. I also placed orders and stocked, did demos as well as put out coupons.
