I just wanted to share a special blessing about the OCC shoeboxes. I was able to share with our little church a few weeks ago about this project. I and three other ladies had put together a total of 35 boxes and the church voted to pay the $7 shipping donation for each box. Then I got 5 more people to take boxes to fill. I had some boxes with me and I had put in a spiral notebook and pencils in each box to get them started. I also copied off one of the brochures and the labels and gave those out too.

I still have lots of stuff, but some I'm going to send to Jamaica with a friend who is here doing her nurses training. She has to go back home to renew her visa. She's from a mountain village that is poor. They received the shoeboxes one year and it was a real blessing to them. The little primary school in her village needed crayons so I'm sending my leftovers there.

I was able to get nearly free Crest toothpaste at Walgreens this week. They have it on sale for $1.99 and you can use their Easy Saver coupon for $1 off and a manufacturer's coupon for $1 off. I only had two of the $1 cpns and one that was $1 off two. So for $1.44 I got 4 tubes. (Included tax)
