I just gave my dog a bath a few hours and he's dry now but he still stinks like he did before the bath. Can anyone recommend a dog shampoo that removes dog smell? The cheap stuff isn't working out so well.

I use dog cologne for my dog. I love having her smell clean all the time. Petsmart sales it . If the smell continues you may want to have the vet look at him. I had a dog that produce a foul odor and bathing didn't correct it. He had some type of skin infection. the vet gave me some type of shampoo to use and it cleared it up rather quickly

We use Nu-Sal-T on our dogs. You can find it online or at your vet's office. It seems to last awhile and makes the smelly go away, at least for a few days.

Go to petsmart or petco and get Earthbath Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera. This stuff is fabulous! It lathers nice, easy to rinse off and great smelling and also wonderful if your dogs have allergies or itchy skin. It is pricey I think I paid 14 or 15 for the bottle and have 2 big dogs but it lasts forever. I would spend 50 on it if I had too it is that good.

My nose thanks you for all of the great tips! I'll see what I can find at Petsmart and go from there...

I am not sure what we use it's whatever they have at the dog wash which may cost $7 but it's worth it not to have to bend over or to clean up my bathroom.
