| campground in Evansville, IN.?
Does anyone know of a campground in Evansville, IN? I am looking for one that I can go to in Mid November. DS is in a soccer tourney there and the hotel rooms the team is staying at are really expensive. I am not needing one with any kind of activities or anything since we will mainly just be sleeping there. I found a state park not to far away but they wont know until closer to time if the modern restroom will still be open. We also will be gone a lot, so a place that I can feel comfortable leaving my camper unattended most of the day. Although most campgrounds are not busy at all in November! Any ideas?? Thanks Last edited by mccartyjj; 10-25-2008 at 09:26 AM. Reason: add more info. |

Well the problem is that the tourneys have a stay to play rule. Which means if you are staying in a hotel you have to book it through the travel agency that the tourney is through. Most are this way, we have found. If you are staying with family or dont need a hotel room then that is different. That is why we were thinking of camping. There were reasonable hotel rooms but our team decided to play late and the reasonable ones were gone.
