What do you give the itty bitty trick or treaters?

I am always at a loss for what to keep on hand for the itty bitty trick or treaters that tag along with their older siblings. Even with a one year old in our house, I am at a loss as what to give the "under 2 or 3" crews that show up at our door...

Suggestions????

Plain Hershey bars are great or Kit Kats. We give out mini playdough cans, they sell them at Sam's Club.

I like to do the individual bags of animal crackers - they sell them at Walgreens - like 12 bags in a package.

I'm giving a 2 year old on the bus a matchbox firetruck and a sucker. I hadn't thought of the little ones from my neighborhood.

Ummm... everyone who comes to my door gets the same thing! I don't have different items for different ages - never heard of doing that.

Fruit snacks. My dd is famous for wanting a box of them, then eating one pack and hating them. So the rest of the box gets given out on Halloween.

Yeah, we have lots of kids in our area so I make special baggies with full-size candy bars, coupons from BUrger King or McDonalds and a glow-in-the-dark necklace/bracelet (there are about 15 kids in our cul-de-sac and next block that we share block parties with etc who get these); then, for the smaller ones, we have little packages of goldfish or graham cracker goldfish or I let their parents pick something from our bowls (in case they will be the ones eating it) Then I also have full-size airheads, fun size KitKats, M&Ms, Junior Mints, Warheads and SourPatch Kids. Also have some Oriental Trading accessories in case kids choose that and then, usually for the teens or tweens, alway glow-in-the-dark is popular. Left-over candy I take to work and put in staff lunchroom and DH takes some to do the same with. Now that mine are too old to TOT, we buy candy that they like to they can eat from our stash.

I went with the grandkids last night and Andrew (age 2 1/2) LOVED a laminated pumpkin coloring sheet that an older woman gave out...she had attached a small pack of crayons to it. He also was crazy about all the stickers and small containers of play dough. A lot of people had special items for the little guys.

When I used to work at Burger King I bought a bunch of the Fisher Price under 2 toys and handed those out to the teeny kidlets. Not that the idea helps you now, but maybe next year...
