How good are you at remembering faces? This test will determine if you're getting enough sleep. The test consists of three parts. They show 12 pictures in the first part, give you a break, and then show another 12 in the second part. They then show you 48 pictures in the third part. You have to remember if you saw them in the first part, second part - or never saw them at all. To my astonishment, I scored 95 / 73. Average Recognition Score is 92%...... I scored 95% Average Temporal Memory Score is 68%..... I scored 73% ~~~Begin test here.~~~ Edited to add: I forgot to mention that I took the test shortly before I went to bed. So, I'd like to think I'd have scored better if I'd taken it early in the day when I'm more alert. Also, if I remember correctly (LOL).... It said I recognized 23 out of 24 faces and scored that portion of the test at 95%. The sad thing is, I know which face I messed up on. But, I thought the guys head was turned slightly different and they were trying to "trick" me. (LOL) So, I clicked that I hadn't seen it..

| Recognition memory = 100% Temporal memory = 75% Which sounds about right for me. I am good with faces and names too, but can't always tell you where I know people from.

| I scored the exact same way. That is being butt-tired and heading off to bed. I have been substituting quite regularly for an 8th grade English class this year. While I know most of the kids' names, there are a few kids who are so quiet, and never cause a problem. So when I go to take roll, I know all of the "bad" kids' names, but I feel so horrible if one kid is right in front of me, and I just don't remember seeing her face or getting that name recognition. Ok, that being said, in a week, I have four separate classes that I have to teach, in addition to an afternoon class of mixed variety. I am not getting the kids every day. Just didn't want to sound like a dunce.
