Angry Sister's son's bike stolen right on our front porch this morning.

This just makes me mad. The bike was given to him about 6 weeks ago and I would have to say sometime between 9:00 to 10:00 this morning the bike was taken right off our front porch. Why do people take things that do not belong to them? The bike was a gift to him and someone comes along in daylight and just takes it. He had a bike before that one was given to him he gave that one to a friend now he has no bike. I would love to help replace it but I do not have the means to do so. UGGGGGG!!!!!! I am so angry right about now.

Thank You for letting me vent.

Not that it would do much good (at least where I live), but.... Did you make a police report? There may be a slim chance they'd find it. But, more than likely the only justice you can hope for is that the thief gets his/her pant leg caught in the chain and takes a nasty spill. (LOL)

About 5 years ago my sons bike was stolen from our front yard, about 3 hrs later a neighborhood girl driving with her mom saw a guy riding the same bike she called the police and we actually got his bike back.

My son had 2 bikes stolen..one at a bike rack at his school. We went there to attend a PTA meeting and when we came outside, the bike was gone ! I had walked to the school for the meeting, my son rode his bike.

Then, in Va Bch..our bike was stolen right out of our front yard ! It was a p.os anyhow..so no big deal..but you know, STILL!

This so reminds me of my childhood. I grew up in the best neighborhood in Atlanta and we could not keep bikes. We kept them in the garage with the door closed but as soon as someone left the door open even for a few minutes they were gone. It is a truely heart breaking experience. I still remember after all the years the pain.

My parents still can't keep anything in their garage. They have had saws and other tools taken. Some one even cleaned out their freezer one day. It had been open a few minutes while all the family arrived for a birthday party and they grabbed everything in seconds while we were all in the room next to the garage. I would love to blame it on the economy but this has happend in good times and bad. People just suck sometimes.

I would 2nd the police report. I have a friend who made a report ($400 bike stolen) and the guy who stole it got picked up on drugs or something and the cops called and asked him for a more accurate description of his bike and low and behold....it was his and he got it back. He now "marks" all his bikes in an area not easily seen so if stolen again, it's easier to prove it's his

So sorry this happened. Mean people suck

I cannot afford $20 to add to the collection (if one gets started) but I can send $5
