Honored and excited...need to share!
I have been asked to be on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce.

I have been considering running for an office in our Village (yeah, I know.. big woop..but.....), and this postion is even better suited for me. I am very excited! It will give me some background in being on a board, so when I do decide to run for an office in two years, I will have some experience to back me up and help along with the transition.

I think Obama's opening line of his acceptance speech was right. I am going for it..
