This has never happened to me before but two sites I went to today I got the message contains Malware that could ruin your computer. Should I totally stay away? I sent one an email but the other I can't as the message keeps coming up. Thanks for any help |

If the two pop ups were not from your antivirus program, they are more than likely just trying to get you to buy their programs. Worse, they could be viruses themselves, Don't click on these links. Run your own anti virus.

The best thing to do now is to go here and download the program. It catches the fake malware cleaner crap and cleans it out if it's on your system. Malwarebytes.org

Odd, I've never had a problem with it. It always gives me the option to delete, leave or ignore what it's found. If I'm not sure of something I just google it to see if it's safe to remove or leave. It also has a quarantine choice in case you need to restore anything.
