Wink how many people here love to use coupons and stockpile

This truly got me thinking of how much I am frugal and love to save money for my family..I simply love coupons anyone else.. I simply love to find the best deal for my money. I love to go to garage sales, shop at the goodwill store, shop at the clearance racks, and of course stockpile when I can get something for free. My dh loves all the money I have saved our family. My dh already added me a bigger laundry room/mud room for more storage and then he added me a complete walk in straight closet in the garage. I feel so happy and proud its like having my own store. Its also easier for my parents since they can literally shop from my house.. So anyone else kindly share...Its such a fun hobby as well.... Peace... Catherine

I use coupons, but don't stockpile. I will buy and extra or two when stuff is on sale and know we'll use it, but DH hates stuff that takes up space. He hates it and constantly complains if the freezer or pantry are too full. I've told him that it saves us money. His opinion is that it's not saving money if we're spending money on stuff we don't need. I've told him we'll use it eventuallly. We've gone round & round, but his bitching isn't worth it. So, like I said, I'll buy an extra or 2 of whatever I'm buying on sale, but not a big stockpile like a lot of people do. I'd love to, though!

Catherine I am a coupon user and stockpile fiend. I'm lucky my SO fully appreciates my hard work and will willing find room in our small mobile home for whatever I can bring home for free. Speaking of mobile home it was free!!! I paid only the property tax and title transfer a total of $118.

I use coupons often. I do buy more than one item if its a good deal. I try my best to save as much as I can using coupons and bargain shopping. I yard sale and also shop at Goodwill. I would say that at least 75% of my wardrobe is second hand clothing. I also have managed over the years to find some wonderful bargains at yard sales to help decorate/furnish our home. I rarely pay full price for anything. I would say the hardest thing is groceries. My dh is a big eater and will not eat *cheap* food. He does not like casseroles, mac and cheese, hot dogs, hamburger helper and anything *mixed*. We eat a lot of vegetables, poultry (white meat only) and beef. We also eat a lot of fruit, nuts and whole grain bread. So, keeping my grocery bill down is a constant battle.

I can not shop without coupons! I started couponing and refunding about 20 yrs ago because I HAD to, and a good friend showed me how. Now I dont have to anymore but love to get the great deals and freebies. I always try to get enough for my stockpile and some to donate to the local United Ministries. It has been over 12 years now that I have paid anything more then tax for things like shampoo/conditioner, hairspray and hair products, mouthwash, toothpaste, deoderant, toothbrushes, dental floss, lotion, and most health and beauty products. We are not brand loyal to anything. I read lots of internet boards and that has helped me greatly in finding the great deals. I LOVE Walgreens FREE after rebate items.. some months there are 6 or more free after rebate items...use coupons put it on a gift card (get an additional 10%) and apply online (saves postage) and it is a moneymaker. Also love CVS they have freebies after Extra care bucks all the time. They are having a great black friday sale also.
Love the great deals and the thrill of finding them!

I have written how this before, how our household is kept extremely neat, both my dh and ds are total neat freaks. However what helps us, it first we ample place for stockpile items, they are not all over the place.. I have a huge refrigerator downstairs in the basement so that helps. Also with 4 full bathrooms, and large vanity alot of the health and beauty items are stored there in order. I also have 3 large linen closets so again things are stored there as well. And again also my wonderful dh made the laundry room/ mud room larger and built me 2 large closets with alot of shelves and finally the last thing he added for me was a huge walkin closet with large shelves in our large garage so alot of stuff is stored there as well. Also like I have stated before 9o percent of my home decor is from garage sales as well and clearence items.. And my wardrobe is also so filled with so many wonderful bargains from the Goodwill store, I have gotten so many expensive shoes and clothes and handbags for mere few dollars.. I would never dream of living any other way it way too much fun. Also I do donate alot to my local aids hospice homes all the time and share alot of food with my extended family.... Peace. catherine

I keep 2 heavy duty shelves (3 rack) that I use for stockpile items. Many of them I have gotten with a coupon but I also shop a lot on Amazon's grocery store. I find many things there cheaper than the grocery store on sale (and many items I use have no coupons available or not often). No sales tax and discounts for auto delivery. So, it works for me. DH fully supports my coupon use. We wouldn't get out to eat as often if we didn't coupon/sale shop on groceries/clothes.

Not weird at all, I have 3 SHELVES worth!

I started couponing and stockpiling in about 1998 and really got crazy when I quit working. That huge cut in pay was a BIG shock to the system we were used to and we cut WAY back. I always say that my couponing has helped enable me to stay at home with my kids, our grocery bills are less than $50 a week and I can skip weeks at a time especially in the winter when DH is off and we actually have no income. The stockpile will really save us this year.
