Secret Millionaire...Did Anyone Watch This Last Night?

I really enjoyed the show. I tuned in at 8:00 and watched the first epiode, not realizing that there was another one on at 9:00. It really kept my attention and warmed my heart. It's nice to see that there are people out there who truly care about others. ~Lisa

I watched both episodes-unfortunately the first episode did not have the correct soundbite-I could hear the music, but not what anyone was saying. Even so, it was still pretty riveting to watch. It finally brought up sound w/ the little girl w/ Osteosarcoma. What was the deal w/ the lady from the construction site? Both episodes brought me to tears. I was impressed in the first episode w/ the father and son's generosity(they obviously have it to give), but the generosity of the couple was just overwhelming. I found it so humbling that they were all so intimidated by their "confession." After watching both episodes, it just makes me want to pay it forward.

I watched them both. Both sets of people showed so much compassion to those they helped. Watching them choke up at the end of the show when they were confessioning their weathly status to people they've only known a week was truly moving. Seeing the millionaires transformations at the end of the show was quite astounding.

I watched the first one with the father and son, but the father just annoyed me....he seemed so clueless about everyday things like finding a job and normal money issues! The father couldn't even do 'physical labor'. His son seemed to be more down to earth and in touch. I think the show will have a longer effect on the son than the father.

The lady from the construction site had previously been homeless, overcame obsticles and now gets up at 4:30 am on Saturdays to open a church that offers meals to the homeless because at one time someone got out of bed to open the church for her. I believe she will absolutely pay it forward in regards to her gift.

Did they ever explain to the poor people why there where cameras following these people? I watched it and never heard them say anything. They obviously had to have cameras and sound people to get the footage. While the principle behind this is admirable, I didn't really like the show too much. I would hope that these multimillionaires would be decent enough to donate their money without having to go on a reality show to do it.

There was something that said that they were told that they were doing a documentary on homelessness. I don't know if the millionaires have donated any of their money to the less fortunate or not in the past...the show didn't say whether they did or not. Let's hope that they have. ~Lisa

I didn't catch the beginning of that part, so I don't know where the guy came from, but he probably had money all of his life and then yes he wouldn't know how to do those things. The fact that he was crying and truely thought he could do something showed that he really saw the world in new eyes. I thought the son was a little clueless when he said that he never imagined himself in that sort of neighborhood?

The rich are generous in their own ways, we have a couple of multi millionares in the family and no they don't hand money out, even to family, that's why they have it, they use it, invest it and make it grow. What they DO at least in my experience is volunteer a lot, belong to a lot of community organizations and raise money that way. Yes my grandma supports things in the area like food pantrys and clothing drives, but she doesn't just cut a check. DOes that make any sense?

I did love the show!! It's inspiring!

I watched both but the second couple I didn't really care for. The woman just said something when they pulled into NO that upset me - she seemed clueless.

I started watching this, and thought it would be a really great show but our DirectTV kept messing up, so I ended watching something else. Is this going to be a regular series?

I think the whole purpose of the reality show was to inspire others -- and I think they will do that
