I have used the Avent bottle warmer with my first son. This time around, we just run hot water in a bowl and let the bottle warm in that.

Bottle warmers are a thing of the past at my house. We haven't used them in the last 3 generations. The doctor told me 40 years ago NOT to warm the formula but to serve it at room temperature. He said not to steralize the bottles either that since we didn't have a well we didn't need to.With todays powdered formulas you can make the bottles up as you go just be sure that you test the temperature on the inside of your wrist if you use warm water to mix it.With the last two generations we have never used a diaper bag to just go to the store. Just keep a diaper, wipes and a change of clothing in the glove box of the car. Another great tip is when you start the baby on cereal put the dry cereal right into the baby fruit and stir. Just a little at first and as the baby gets older add more cereal into the bowl to make it thicker. The baby will love it this way and save you from longgggggggg feeding times and extra bowls to wash. With the great-grandson the dr said stop the bottle and use a cup at 4 months.

Never used one. My kids drank bottles from the fridge.

For the little guy I babysit, I just fill a bowl with hot water and let the bottle sit in it for a few minutes.

We heat an electric kettle to hot bathwater temperature, and then stick bags of breast milk in, just to get them to room temperature. It's not cute, but it works, and you can make tea with it too.

I forgot to add to my post that we make bottles as we go so Ryan gets room temp bottles. We make one bottle for night time and that's the only bottle we slightly warm for him. Sometimes he will get it straight from the fridge, too.

Same here. I figured that by the time they sucked the nipple and through that tiny hole, it was pretty warm anyway.
