| Going to a Christmas Tea............
DD was invited to a "Girl's Christmas Tea". Is there some sort of etiquette stating what, if anything, the attendees should bring? I'm good friends with the girl's Mom, and I'm sure anything goes, but, was interested to see if anyone has been to one, and what, if anything, they brought. I'm a firm believer in bringing a gift of sorts, when someone invites you to their home. I was thinking of putting together a cute gift basket with Holiday cookie cutters, cookied dough scoop, and some other things. Thoughts??? Ideas??? Thanks.

What about a typical adult hostess gift but child-size it? A sweet little box of chocolates, maybe you have a fancy candy store around you that can do a box of four and wrap them up special. A baby poinsetta plant A bouquet of flowers but cut the stems short, wrap them in tissue paper and tie with a pretty ribbon. Or something pretty and feminine. Does the little hostess wear ribbons in her hair? If so what about some new hair ribbons wrapped in a box with pretty paper. You could go to the fabric store and pick out some beautiful colors. And your holiday basket idea is adorable too. I think it needs to be small and girly and inexpensive. BTW, I love the idea of a Christmas Tea Party for little girls. So sweet!!!
